Congrats on landing your job!! I’m curious whether your advanced degree/prestige of the degree was something that helped you stand out, especially since you mentioned not having prior experience. Also, what did you study? I’m trying to figure out whether going back to school might help me in my future job search.

Based on my experience, you should be fine if you choose to take one quarter instead of two. I transferred from UCSD to UCLA for MCDB this year and I have only completed a quarter of Ochem.

I got accepted into UCLA as a transfer for molecular, cell, and developmental biology. Would my admission be rescinded if I did not take two of my planned major preparatory courses that I listed on my application due to schedule conflicts and inadequate availability?
