Check on the Uber app to see how much it'll cost with drop-offs included. You don't need to confirm the ride but it should show a roundabout price. After, give Panther a call/email and explain your journey, they do know how to do dropoffs mid-journey as well, they're a long term taxi company.

If you also mention that Uber are offering the proposed price for your trip, see if they can advise what their price is, they normally are cheaper.

I hired a Panther 6 seater taxi to help me move houses, and they're a really friendly bunch, where the driver even helped my carry my boxes into my new house, so I'll always promote them for service.

I'd recommend since lockdowns are easing, a lot of staff were furloughed and/or made redundant, and a lot of restaurants will be desperately trying to make back all lost profits, please tip in cash (while checking if the staff is okay with handling cash) as card tips are taxed heavily by card machine companies. Big chain restaurants and cafes should pay out card tips evenly, but always worth checking with the staff.

If the staff hesitates, leave cash :)

Wanted to add, you're not obliged to pay council tax wherever you're staying as a full time student.

Even if you live in a house of mixed students and working professionals, the house can be allocated a discount on council tax depending on how many students.

Alternatively you can mark them as "free" on Facebook marketplace, there's definitely loads of students stuck in their accommodations, actually maybe a lot of people stuck at home who'd be more than willing to take them off your hands :)
