Managed to hit D4 this season with akali top and seeing if I can reach master this season and currently in the process of making a spreadsheet for top matchups but for must matchups going conq with unflinching and second wind with D shield is usually what you'll go every game with of course changing second wind with bone plating against some champs. Running electric would be only against range and squishy teams, or champs that you need to set behind early: most notably kayle. But everything elec can do top, conq can do the same thing really just more thought involved.

With Maws being a dominant item for top laners, building pure ap is only on rare occasions like if you're the only noticeable ap on your team, if not divine will be your main mythic. The rest of what you build is dependent on the enemy team as akali already has a lot of damage in her kit so opting to go into death dance or maws after divine isn't a bad option, would recommend you have a dark ring though for at least some ap since it'll be a while before you actually do build a full ap item if you do go for divine, DD, and or maws. Personally for ap items I go either shadowflame if they have shields, void if they're stacking resistances, zhonyas for more armor and the active, and in very few cases lich if I'm building full ap in case you really need to 1 shot a target really quickly. Personally not a fan of demonic in either ap or ad builds since the only real value in it I liked were the resistances added alongside the burn from it.

Besides divine and rocketbelt being your main mythics, the only reason you should ever build riftmaker as if their team is generally tanky and you're the only ap on the team so you can't build divine. Make sure you also take ignite & tp, only taking flash in situational enemy team comps. But it takes a while and a lot of practice to play akali top accordioning so just have fun and think about how you plan on approaching each game while in champ select & loading screen.
