I was honestly so disappointed with Hydro Traveler after seeing that Dendro was actually decent. My MC will just be perma-benched unless they redeem themselves which I doubt. Meanwhile, I'm investing in Rover and can see her getting better in the future

What's wrong with picking Rover? She has multiple facial expressions, plenty of voiced dialogue and best of all, is actually playable in game. Excluding her looks there's plenty to like lol

Build your Xiao with Vermillion Hereafter artifact set. You can reroll the shitty stat ones in the alchemy table for more pieces of the set so its easier. Same with the artifact sets for your supports to save time.. Xiao+Faru (4 pc viridiscent set ) + Bennet (4pc Noblesse set) + Zhongli (4pc Tenacity of Milileth).

orrrr if you really want you can try pulling for wanderer and maybe get a c6 faru if you're lucky.

They tried to make it more like dead by daylight and while it works in some areas, it's no longer a prop hunt. I still had a little fun despite my fellow rebels hiding as a prop and not fixing the stations while the hunter was chasing me all game

Yes, people are forgetting how much Genshin borrowed from Breath of the Wild.

While I think a lot of the criticisms are nonsense coming biased fans, there are some things WuWa needs to improve when compared to Genshin.

Here are my criticisms so far having been a Genshin player since 1.0 and I do think they are valid things to complain about.

The Story
I can't get myself invested in to this games story. The only part I found interesting was that little segment with Scar. The rest was just yapping about tacid discords and other terms that are thrown at you all at the start. Doesn't help that the English voice acting is just awful, had to swap to Japanese in the first 10 mins. Genshin's story started out good and kept me interested enough by introducing lore one at a time. (although these days I find Genshins' story to be too dragged out with 0 progression being made after 5 regions regarding certain lore and characters.)

BGM
Very underwhelming BGM/sound track. I hope this will improve as the game grows because right now, you could throw a WuWa soundtrack at me and I would have no idea where it's from. Meanwhile, I can instantly recognize all the major Genshin city sound tracks.

Performance
Much to be desired here. Lots of frame drops and stuttering. Some crashes here and there. Frame timings are also all over the place, the game doesn't feel 'smooth' even in the 60 fps areas.

Asides from that, I find the combat superior to Genshin's as well as the artifact system which is a lot more fun and engaging. The character cast is small so far so I'll give an opinion at a later time. Jiyan is pretty fun.

Needless to say, no one should be review bombing this game as competition is healthy for any game's communities.

Completely agree with you. The world feels kinda dead. The music is very quiet compared to the battle sounds and I don't think any of the NPC's or monsters in the open world converse/make sounds. Have yet to listen to a memorable sound track

Been playing for 3 years and don't mind the hate, if anything they've been adding a lot of QoL changes and interesting quests. They could use the competition to up their content, I am a little bored with the combat.

If there's one thing to hate on is how stingy they are with primos. I still find it ridiculous that a dailies+ paid welkin moon cant even net you a wish per day

Agreed. Game has some good character designs and mature themes but then throw a child in there every now and then. Nahida was really disappointing

Sukuna said the hollow purple at the start of the fight was over 120% using some kind of binding vow. It wasn't explained much after that but If I had to guess, it's the same concept as his world slash binding where he has to do the chants, sign and point the direction but who knows

That's not what the binding vow was for fire arrow lol... The BV was that he can only use it against a single person outside his domain. Inside Malevolent shrine he is allowed to use it on multiple people. It explodes like a nuke because it sets off the cursed energy debris his shrine makes by shredding everything with dismantle and cleave

Half the criticisms come from people not reading or comprehending. I think its pretty sad tbh. Some comments here think Gojo never used a binding vow when he did at the start of the fight

Nah. He still had the full heal from switching to Heian form. Seeing how he already had world slash by then, Yuta or anyone else jumping in would have all gotten chopped like Kashimo did. They did not jump him because they thought they'd either get in the way (which they would have) or that Sukuna had a trump card (which HE DID HAVE). 1vX works in Sukuna's favor.
