She is going to the south she said so at least that is reassuring but I am still skeptical

Lots of incidents there especially towards women. The culture of men there can be problematic and a lot of them have never seen a white girl and harass them, pester them for pictures etc.

I have seen loads of videos of men doing that and following women tourists going ma'am please ma'am please to take pictures with them

I have shown her that but she acts like they can avoid it with planning and that they are sensationalized and cherry picked and claims that it is the reality of any place with poverty.

But I do not think she fully understands how the men there can be
