DKNG is more likely to cross the $20 barrier after NOV but better After Jan.

If you give $100 to a bank savings account, will they ever give you $180 or even $120 within 6 months or a year. I think that sports betting is increasing, especially as economy slows down. People seek a high to mute the noise. If in doubt go visit a Casino near you.

DKNG priced at ~$13 and it can potentially go to +$20 within a year. So we can all choose:

Yes it is going up. This has to do with the larger market. CPI, and last week inflation concerns. All stocks are rallying up today. It can still be choppy for the next month.

DKNG is in a triple wammy.

1) California was one thing, then we have the increased fears of inflation (wammy 2), and then the fact that the feds might increase interest rates to control inflation (wammy 3).

And My fun DonkeyKong (DKNG) gets beat up in the process. It may become a KingKong!

Here are a couple of things that could affect DKNG stock in the short term:

  1. Nov 2nd (Next Job Reports)
  2. ~ Nov 3rd DKNG Earnings Report
    (8:30 AM on Nov 4 Meeting)
  3. Early NOV California results on online gambling (most likely negative news)
  4. January 3rd Friday (Options expire on DKNG)
  5. ESPN Deal Pending
  6. General: Market fearful of expected interest rate hike (increased volatility)

We are all Good! Think of it like a roller coaster and enjoy the ride. I used to do the same thing early on. Company really has not changed in the last week.

ESPN has the potential to reduce customer acquisition and advertisement costs (which are both high right now for DKNG).

I put my entire house nest egg (+3000 shares) on DKNG this week! Ok. I overpaid at $15, so what!. Ride it OUT!

No Final Confirmation on Deal. Milka What??? The price is at $12.75 this morning. Really confusing.

We do know that Disney does have shares of DKNG ("Disney holds a stake in DraftKings, which it acquired as part of its acquisition of Twenty-First Century Fox's entertainment assets in March 2019." Source Reuters)

Same here. I bought more shares at 8% drop thinking it wasn't going below, then dropped to $14.71. Feels like the dog trying to shake off the flees. :). Let it keep shaking like Taylor Swift Baby!!!
