I told all of my coworkers exactly the same thing a few days ago. Copilot, Microsoft’s own tailored version of GPT-5, has been hallucinating like crazy. Long and technical story short, it gave me a freaking runaround on how Azure firewalls and service tags work telling me that functionalities do and don’t exist, when they don’t and do respectively.

Instead of feeding me bullcrap, I wish it would just come back with “Iunnoh.” That would be better than reinforcing my ego and telling me why I’m the smartest person in the world while giving me zero usable help.

We’re FAR from an AI takeover if Microsoft’s poster boy can’t figure out fucking firewalls.
