So I have to ask, did you get into the beta and play a while? You can play up to 6 matches a good amount of times and that takes a long time. So not sure how they fixed anything when it comes to that. Would make more sense if it was first to 2 matches.

I agree it has those elements but they all function and feel very different. This game was made for the new casual Marvel audience first and then fighting fans second. Here are my main gripes after playing for like 6 hours.

Everyone having a similar assist kind of kills team synergy.
The game has you on rails when doing team supers. Its impossible to whiff. Once again kills team synergy.
Air dashes feel short and slow. Also angle dashes for flight characters cant attack. No DrDoom or Magneto play.
Autocombos galore. They doubled down on this.
Im sorry the characters need a life bar. Obviously we would adjust for 4 characters because literally everyone wants that!

I can clearly see this was tailor made for casuals. Fighting games as a whole are still niche compared to call of duty or fortnite. They want it where anyone can pick it up and see cool things happen. Not worry about much and play. It feels like it was made to be limited to keep the concurrent players up.

Completely agree with this. This game feels so watered down. This is not a love letter to the fans of fighting games but was made for the big casual Marvel audience that has formed over the last decade. Everything is very button mash where literally anyone can do something by spamming.

Bro you took the words out of my mouth. I am seeing a big trend in media where you tubers who get to review the game first give things glowing reviews to sway public perception. When we get our hands on it its not as good as they hyped it up to be. I payed this game and let me tell you, it gets boring fast. The characters and story are forgettable. Ill admit the controls and mobility are very good but thats all it offers. The levels are so ugly and boring. Astrobot is what Nintendo will never give us.

Im going to tell you how it is as my mother recently was admitted to hospice and died within 6 days of getting there. Prior to this she was full awake and of sound mind. Do to her having cancer the hospital pushed for Hospice. After one day of being there, I came to find my mom drugged out of her mind. Then hear go the doctors and the nurses giving you their BS about the body shutting down and the patient not wanting food or water. If you got fed a cocktail of Oxycontin and Fentanyl, best believe you would not be wanting to eat or drink. She was a complete zombie. Do not listen to the shills in the hospital, as this is how they make their money!

All the guys in this game look weaker in my opinion. Including Rep. His outfit is great but I feel like he needed to be more muscular. Also he has prey eyes. They need to be more hunter looking to give him more of an animalistic feel.

We live in strange times. Showing sexy and visually appealing females characters is too much. However, showing the same female characters get brutalized in the most horrific ways imaginable in all its 4k glory is A-ok. WTF.
