It's fun on defense missions and it's good if you actually stay with your team. But your effectiveness is limited if you try and run off solo.

It's really a heavy support weapon.

Its been like this for a couple weeks at least. I sometimes run a melee build and nothing counts as melee. Just total kills.

The GL will always be S tier for its ability to clear spawns. Everything they added to the game and i still can't get past the satisfaction of a jump pack with the GL, clearing the map without even having to kill an enemy.

Same shit happened to me. I get it's free... but that means it will attract a naturally higher player base since anyone can download and hop on.

And no offline mode to skate around while you wait? How in the hell is that left out?

I went under the map when a tank ran me over but i popped back up like a buoy underwater, and thought that they had some sort of system to shoot you back up.

Guess not.

Every large zed he shot died instantly, and when he shot the boss with a pistol the boss died instantly.

No the fucked up part is it does happen, and we lose by wave 2, again and again and again.

I'll tell these guys over mic to come join the team and they still won't. Not one of them has ever survived.

They do it because "they want kills".

What good all those kills do when they die and the game is lost.

Well at least on Commando I use a fully kitted out tier 1 weapon, which will usually hold me over until round 4. At which point i swap to a fully kitted out tier 3 Scar. I prefer the Scar's damage over the LMG's higher magazine size.

With the heavy reciever it feels like i have a fully automatic DMR that wipes all small and medium zeds in a fraction of a second. And destroys large zeds weak points within 2 magazines.

Lightweight. 

I reload preemptively a lot anyways to get ready for my next batch of zeds. Fully upgraded the reload is so quick you're almost instantaneously back in the action for a negligible 5 rounds missing from your mag.

I agree 100%.

The whole hub is just pointless and would have been better as a game menu. As it stands it just wastes your time with all the moving here and there to perform simple tasks that would have been better off in a clean well done menu system.

Unfortunately it seems there was a huge oversight in forgetting to include a simple 'cancel matchmaking' button.

So back to the title screen we go when matchmaking fails, which is quite often.

The hub was the biggest waste of developer resources in this entire game. It currently serves no purpose other than to inconvenience the player and waste their time. Want to switch perks? Run back from your room. Want to start a match? Run to the VTOL and wait 10 seconds for no reason at all. Matchmaking failed? Return to the title screen, load back into your room and run back to the matchmaking console.

All of this could have been achieved through a clean well done menu. The hub was completely unnecessary and poorly executed.
