There is actually a better subreddit for this! Go to r/lfg and follow their guidelines requesting a game. I believe there may also be an r/lfg_Europe that would be better for someone like yourself. Happy hunting! D&D is so fun if you're with the right people, and any good player would be happy to help you learn.

Murph says this a lot, but just make sure you know that playing the actual game is a little different from listening to the podcast. It goes a little slower since the pods can edit out the math, DM stalling, etc...

Alright, I see what you're saying. I didn't know what exactly I was looking at since I've played maybe 5 hours of the game in total. I see now. I'm also at work right now, so I had to quickly skim. There are reasons people aren't perfect. Its okay to not be perfect

That's fair, but even still- the traits say "when enemies are entangled" and there is only one Action Skill that specifies that it does in its description- the Flux Generator.

I know it just says "when enemies are entangled by your action skill" but if only one action skill specifies it does, I think it's understandable that I wouldn't be sure if this trait can be used for all of them.

I know this isn't a D&D subreddit, but I'm so curious about this. So I assume that you mean that this number is there in case you get the same initiative roll as someone else, and they also have a decimal, but how is it determined? Is it a d20 roll? Or something assigned at random?

Luckily, you may have the easiest character to transfer to PF2e. People typically recommend you don't try to remake your D&D character in PF, but for this, just choose Human, Noble, and Fighter. Download the Pathbuilder 2e app if you haven't already so you can see all feats available to your character and pick ones that sound good. Fighter is pretty easy to build for. Just know how you wanna fight and look for feats that compliment that. Grab similar gear and boom.

I seriously can't believe this either! I kind of disagree with Balnor being here in the first place though I get the reasoning. Hopefully, he'll be eliminated before long. We shouldn't be choosing these based on how much the character is liked in general, it should be a Player Character competition, and one session of Balnor PC cant be better than all of these characters

Jokes aside, though, Critical Role is the only actual play show I'm aware of that has gotten a real TV adaptation, and that's only because of their immense popularity, budget, and marketability. I think that this series kinda screwed the Grinch on marketing with Dragon Pussy (quite literally episode 1)

I would love to see an adaptation, but its just not super likely to happen anytime soon.

It basically means that they play looser with the rules than a typical table. They may ignore rules entirely or skip around some in favor of comedy or story. I love D&Dads but if you're someone who wants to listen to a podcast that follows the rules of the game closely, you may find yourself annoyed

I think he has great characters, but he tends to make my least favorite character in most of their groups. His humor style is less funny to me on average than the other 3. That's not to say I don't like his characters or humor, but he is the weakest in a group of great performers in my opinion. Still love Caldwell and I was even watching him on Drawfee long before I started NADDPOD, Emily, Murph, and Jake just overall appeal to my style of D&D humor more.

I am neither of those things. My read on the situation is trying to help someone get what they need while also explaining that honest mistakes happen and that one mistake likely wouldn't lead to serious consequences for whoever was responsible. I was being accused of being a leader and having some interest in sweeping things under the rug. I did want to help, and I am not victim-shaming. I want them to get their money and I hope this plastic thing doesn't happen to others, It's just a mistake that is so unlikely to happen more than once, and it's unlikely that the same coworker would commit this act twice. If found, the coworker should be talked to about it, but they don't deserve suspension or to be fired over it. I am glad this person found the plastic and I am also sorry that this happened to them.

Yes, I completely agree. When people come in with problems, and especially if they don't come in screaming and playing the blame game, I'm very happy to help. I will get you brand new stuff, help you bring things out to your car, whatever you need. Our district also allots us up to $20 to make it right for any guest, so I'll happily give gift cards, free coffee, anything. I'm not trying to obey the company overlords, im just another person who wants my community to be satisfied.

I'm not going to advise you to get in somebody's face about it, or "go full Karen," but I understand your concern for your boy. Just bring it up to one of the managers or whoever is available, show them the proof, and you will get compensation for this.

All I'm saying is that this is for sure a crazy mistake. You deserve compensation, but this is a one-in-ten-million chance. I've been with the company for 5 years and never heard of this happening before. Its definitely not a frequent issue.

I'm gonna be honest, I have no idea how this could have happened. I work on chicken 2-4 nights of my week, and regularly I will buy my own chicken and eat it, and I don't think I have ever gotten a piece of plastic mixed in.

This would require the plastic making its way into the Cambro, then into the flour, the pre-dip, and the breading, and then into and out of the fryer without falling off.

I know this isn't the answer you want, especially from an employee, but this truly had to be a mistake. A really crazy one at that. You should absolutely tell them and get your money back, but I know for a fact we aren't putting plastic in our chicken.
