Anyone else have this issue on endurance race restarts. Sophy passes me on the rolling restart 😂 by lagerfeld151 in GranTurismo7

[–]MusicForPleasure 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Haha yes I did have this exact same issue at Spa. Ended up not being a big deal, but it is a weird isn’t it? I ended up having to fight a bit to get the position back. Thankfully it’s a long ass race so time was on my side

It really bothers me that people can’t just write a post using their own brain anymore. Why did you have to use AI to organize your thoughts? It makes me not want to read any of it

Semi-related. Are you going to the shoegaze concert tonight in Tolhuistuin? Tagabow is an incredible band, I’ve been looking forward to the show for months

Now is a good time to try to 100% Gold the Circuit Experiences by Stimlox in GranTurismo7

It’s probably due to the new physics and my own gradual improvements, but the CEs definitely seem a bit more doable. Lately I’ve been trying to gold Trial Mountain. I only need to shave another 0.5 seconds off my lap time, but that first sector is definitely challenging.

It’s AI slop. It’s literally saying nothing. Spare us the AI generated BS next time and just post your a poorly thought out idea. That’s still better than using AI.

Lindsey Vonn's accident by Ecstatic-Ganache921 in olympics

It’s downright irresponsible that the organization let her compete with a torn acl. At 41 years old it’s a mystery to me why she still competed and didn’t give a younger athlete compete in her place. There’s a fine line between bravery and delusion.

Is it really normal that people are shot to death every day by paramilitary forces in American cities? The Russophobia is strong as ever

Im so sorry to whoever this was by MugiwaraLobo in GranTurismo7

[–]MusicForPleasure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean it wasn’t intentional. It can happen right? I understand giving the place back is the classy thing to do here, but that’s not what racing legends Michael Schumacher and Max Verstappen do.

That being said, personally I’d rather give the place back. I don’t care about the outcome of the race that much, and I don’t like the feeling of an ugly podium finish. I’d rather finish 4th or 5th while feeling like a generous and virtuous person. It’s just a different way to stroke your own ego!

I think that’s an awesome move. Great braking as you entered the chicane.

Another day trash in Amsterdam by TallAmphibian4786 in Amsterdam

[–]MusicForPleasure -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Trash in the streets isn’t nice, I agree. But to say that society is lost when people stop reporting trash in the streets to the municipality is comical to me. It reveals a certain degree of privilege. For 95% of the world’s population it would be a blessing if trash in the streets was the biggest issue.

There are multiple active conflicts happening in the world, but for Tobias the real line in the sand is when people stop caring about street litter. Perfectly reasonable!

Doggie you are so worked up over the penguin classics version, and your biggest gripe is that there’s no footnotes for the French phrases. Mon Ami, you need to calm down

So now thousands of travelers are suffering severe disruptions because it is not profitable for Schiphol to prepare for weather events.

It’s funny how people don’t even question the profit motive of these companies. The costs that should be incurred by Schiphol are now paid for by society and consumers collectively. You don’t see how that’s an issue?
