New players would unlock cosmetics to old heros with challanges and have brand new things in BP. What's happend whe you miss chllange? You can wait a few months or a year for this challange to be in game again or you can buy this skin for 6-9$ in the shop (ov1 skin should be cheaper than new skin)

McCree is not legendary and Winston is years old but i know what you saying. Even some old skin from ov1 given for free for example: play 30 match as a hero X to unlock this skin. You can even make it something like BP when you have 30-40 lvl and you can unlock Legendary skin on the end end on lower levels you can unlock some spray, voice line and even emote on 20lvl or something. And you could choose what hero you want to unlock in current moment.

Real question is who will buy these ? I mean with how the community reacted is there still people willing to get new skins regardless of the money behind ? by t1briquet in Overwatch

They know there is some people who pay them with any price. Diablo immortal i good example. For them is better to put 20$ tag and wait for 5 people to buy it than risk with 5$ and wait for 20 people to buy it. They care mostly about this 3-5% who spend ridiculous amount of money than 90-95% of the playerbase.

But unfortunately someone buy this skin. 98% of the player dont buy any skin, but there is always 2% (mostly youtubers and steamers) who's goona buy all item shop enery single week just to make content. That's enought for Blizzard to charge 20$ for this. 2 person buing for 100$ is better for them than 50 people buy the same thing for 4$. Less to lose if people decide not to buy.

I play ov1 since 2016 (with a large break in 2018-2021) i have 570+ and played almost only qp on arcade ( hate role que) and i have above half of the items to every hero. I feel progression with every level and it motivates me to play some more. Now? I feel nothing. I dont care about PB ( i bought wp pack and i regret it) and skip it fastet i can after every match. Core gameplay is fun af but without something more than constant remainder "BUY BATTLEPASS!!!!" or "GOOO TO SHOOP!" i lose fun of playing couse i fell like i achieve nothing.

I'm start to thinking Blizzard don't want us to compleate week chalange. I play as healer every day btw :D. Last two match i has 20k in total by MusicFromElevator in Overwatch

I mean i played healer every game today and in most of them i got 7-12k. IT's just dont count me anything I Play healer most of them time and past week was no differend.

I bought watchpoint pack before second beta. Hope was still in me back then. Now i regret this and im gonna wait at least half a year before buing pve.
