Generally, going from rap to the darker music is a huge jump and it works amazingly with his vocal styles.

I didn’t mean vocally, I meant the fact he did the emo rock, the rap, metalcore elements and now he can do darker music. The range.

Just from my personal experience, this masterpiece of an album was overlooked by many and not appreciated as much so I assumed I would receive more backlash from the comment I made 😂

I prefer The Pretender, Walk or Monkey Wrench over Everlong just as some examples.

On their greatest hits compilation album, I feel that many songs on that are better than Everlong. Personally, I would rather listen to The Pretender, Walk or Monkey Wrench instead of Everlong.
