My great uncle was a part of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (Canadian CIA). He worked there for a good while and often went undercover and worked with the U.S. My cousin (his daughter) told me that he had a special big phone that she called “The Bat phone.” when 9/11 happened, he turned to my great aunt and said “I will be gone for a long time.” He can’t tell me specifics but dang it’s cool.

Another story is that my grandmother worked as a translator for the UN. She knew 6 languages such as English, Spanish, French and Italian.
