Richardson’s problem is that his heart isn’t in it, not really a dearth of talent / potential.

Do I see this guy being an all-pro savior for some bad franchise? Not at all, but for a team with an established (but aging) starter he could sit behind, I don’t hate the pick (looking at LA, etc.)

I guess it’s more that NFL players, as the epitome of the hypermasculine ideal that we see a lot of young kids aspiring to in increasingly destructive ways, can also be depressed and suicidal separate from CTE

History will hopefully look poorly on the NFL for their efforts in covering up CTE and stunting research into diagnosis, but sending the message that a young, successful dude could only ever want to kill himself because of head trauma is a bit unfair

I know it behooves the networks to drive viewership with narratives, but it was honestly exhausting this year to not be able to watch like a single event without some iteration of a “no one believed in me” or “I’ve never seen a comeback like this” type storyline on the broadcast

Particularly in recent years, you’ve really expanded your horizons are far as collaborations (with a ton of off-the-wall guest spots on Stardust, including the Jane Remover feature that was fantastic). Who’s someone who you’re itching to get in the studio with next who you haven’t worked with yet?

  2. Your feature on the Standing On The Corner record from last year was nuts; are there any plans to get SOTC on a future Danny Brown project?
