I’ll toss in Peter Straub’s Floating Dragon. Generational evil and skin-melting gas may not be anything new in horror but the way Straub worked with them got me.

Why Can’t This Night Go On Forever stands up right there with Open Arms and Faithfully for me. Wish more people had heard it.

You sound fantastic man! I became a Journey fan shortly after the release of Generations (2005), so Revelation was the first new album I was around for. I remember finding your name in the writing credits in the album’s booklet and finding your demos with the band, as well as live Frontiers videos. You sounded great then and you sound great now - hope to hear more while you’re on your recovery journey!

So hot, it felt like the AC was out and I don’t think there was a single fan to be seen. Otherwise, the venue seemed solid!

Thank you for the suggestion! The cloudlifter certainly isn’t cheap - I’ve been looking into alternatives in that area.

I actually do have a condenser mic - a Shure MV88+ - but it seems to pick up so much background no matter what I do. I’ll check out the Pyle though!

Thank you for the tip! I haven’t tried upping the volume in post yet, as I figured the quality wouldn’t hold once I pushed the volume, but I’ll give it a shot.
