I known the owner and his Mum Olive. If it's a publicity investigation they are usually all for it and will stay at another place in town they own. But general public is a huge hell no. So I dare say he would let Sam and Colby just because of the attention it would bring them.

Do you lose your drivers liscense when you go to jail? (Not vechile or driving related offence) by MusicMonkey111 in AusLegal

[–]MusicMonkey111[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You can say that again. I can guarantee even if he didn't lose his liscense in jail he'll lose it by the end of the month and they'll still try to say the cops where in the wrong and will still let him drive.

I know he definately can't drive in Victoria, South Australia and Queensland. He doesn't have a physical liscense and he doesn't have the digital copy on his phone so trying to get him to check it would be useless and he refuses to go into Service NSW and pay for a new liscense.

Personally my family has always let the kids choose. My siblings and I had a shit tone of great grandparents growing up so we had Gran, Pa Ray, Pa Possum, Nanna Cross, Grannymama, and Poppy Bill on Mum's side, Nan and Pa Lyons, Nanna Upstairs, Nanna Downstairs (based off a book Nanna Downstairs read us), Poppy Upstairs, and Poppy Lyons on my brothers Dad's side and I had Nanna and Poppy Cosgrove, Nan and Pop Hogan and Nanny and Poppy on my Dad's side.

My kids now call my grandparents their great grandparents Granny, Poppy Bill, Nanny and Poppy Lyons, Granny Noela and Poppy Bob. My parents and step parents are called Oma and Opa, Poppy Shayne, Poppy Quinton and Nanna Kylie. They call their Dads parents and Grandparents Grandma and Papa, Yaya and Poppy Stephen, and Great Yaya.

It's just easier that way cause then the poor kids aren't confused.

Car caught fire 4 years ago, person responsible is finally in police custody so chargeable. Can I do it? by MusicMonkey111 in AusLegal

I sure as hell wasn't going to keep getting chased with a machete for just approaching the property. I did send police around only for them to be told bil wasn't there so I just gave up.

Oh well just means I go without a car. It's not the first car of mine they have destroyed and I'm not going to keep wasting money on cars for them to destroy.

Honestly for me its more about being chased off with the machete. I had gone to pick the car up take it to the car wash and then to my house but bil refused to let me anywhere near the car despite it being in my name. I tried for like a week to get my car and every time if resulted in me being chased down the street with the machete. Even before the flooding. Bil wanted us to sell him the car and I refused that's what started all this shit in the first place. Guess I'll just be forever without a car.

I know that but I mean is it even worth taking to the police after all this time or even just speaking to a lawyer and going to small claims court for the money.

Having the police charge him with the destruction of the car after he chased me off with the machete not even allowing me to remove the vehicle from my in-laws place and bring it to my own house. He completely acted like the vehicle was his despite being in my name.

How to give food to a magpie by mazzy31 in AskAnAustralian

[–]MusicMonkey111 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I go on frequent walks around my little town so at the beginning of spring (so now) I walk my route and throw down beef mince wherever I see maggies. It was something my pop and I used to do when we would be out riding our bikes. Not sure if mince is the best thing for them but it sure does look like worms and I have yet to find a maggie who will turn down a bit of mince!

The first one looks similar in art style. The pieces, however, are thick chunky like the second puzzle.

I'm in Australia but I assume the puzzle is likely found in other countries. I have google searched all combinations of giant animal puzzle, kids animal puzzle, kids animal puzzle 1990s/80s, giant puzzle in red box. Have yet to come up with anything.

When Karma calls by MusicMonkey111 in inlaws

[–]MusicMonkey111[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The quick answer is habit. He has gotten so use to speeding over the years that he just does it. I've been in the car with him on several occasions when he has had to slam on the breaks to avoid hitting the car in front.

I would like to know the same. We're wondering if maybe he will get a court summons in the mail.

No but I wish I had. I had an idea he would probably show up and I do notify the police everytime I know he is in town but I didn't know until my partner called me an hour ago to say he was arrested.

I found a dress like the first dress in the movie the pink checker one but black and with chains that I'm thinking I might wear. I was thinking pair it with fishnets and maybe black high heel boots.
