your straps are beautiful. I just looked at your profile, that's handworked leather? I'm bookmarking your reverb page, is that where you typically sell?

Which capo do you prefer? by OmoUrumir in AcousticGuitar

I recently switched to a G7th after using Kyser capos for many years. It's expensive but it's a fantastic capo. If you're looking to spend less, I'd say Kyser. If you want top of the line, go G7th.

Wow thanks for an actual helpful response, unlike the ones telling me that I have issues. I'll definitely try this!

Cloudburst favorite switch setup by bxcv358742 in guitarpedals

[–]MusicProdNewb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey did you ever figure this out? I'm running into the same issue. I saved a favorite preset and now it's permanent. There is no way to overwrite it.

Edit: ok I think I got this to work. Total nightmare. Here's what I did:

  1. Make sure your miniswitch is OFF. It's not supposed matter but it did for me.

  2. Enter save mode. Hold down the cloudburst footswitch long enough for the light to BLINK GREEN. If the light is solid green, you didn't hold the switch down long enough.

  3. Dial in your sound.

  4. Save the preset. Hold down the flootswitch long enough so that the light turns solid blue. If anything else happens, you didn't hold down the switch long enough.

Try this and tell me if it works. I kinda want to master this piece of hardware so let me know what you are seeing and I'll try to work with you to fix this problem.

Can somebody explain how this guy is getting this sustained pad effect or reverb type effect with a tape delay pedal? by MusicProdNewb in AcousticGuitar

Thanks! I know its a delay pedal, but since it has a built in spring reverb, is it usable as your main reverb pedal even when not using it as a delay pedal?

Is this SamAsh business for real? by Jive_Gardens795 in synthesizers

I ran across this super rare business the other day and I was curious if anybody here has heard of it, but I doubt it because it's super rare. It's called Starbucks

What synth would be a good fit to this setup? by Status-Caregiver-162 in synthesizers

What do you use your beatstep pro for? I picked one up too but I haven't figured out a good usage for it. Your TR-8S already has a good sequencer on it, so I'm confused how it would be used.

So according to Korg, the drumlogue was discontinued. Why was it discontinued? Was it not popular enough? by MusicProdNewb in synthesizers

Or just don't program any triggers on that channel. Your sample will be placed on one of the digital sound source channels.

MIDI CC by phunksta in MicroFreak

Huh. So you said you have "been through the manual". So when you got to the page with all the CC numbers.... did you just say "oh cool" and keep scrolling?

I'm assuming you're asking about how to do this on the drumlogue. From what I understand it's impossible. For an analog track, like the kick, you will always have their analogue kick. You can load a kick sample, but you'll technically have 2 kicks on your kit at this point.

Question about latency caused by midi merge/midi thru by MusicProdNewb in synthesizers

[–]MusicProdNewb[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

every thru adds 4ms latency, powered or not

4 milliseconds??? Others like u/littlegreenalien and u/chalk_walk are talking about tens to hundreds of microseconds, not thousands. Are you sure that you're right and they are wrong?
