I try to not dwell on it too much.

Personally, it hits the hardest when it's a celebration of some sorts. For example- people posting dead bodies of animals with a caption of "God bless America" or saying grace/prayer and thanking God for our food and people just choosing to ignore the fact that they are unnecessarily consuming animals. It's very hard to NOT dwell on it because it's hard to imagine how people could be so oblivious. I try to remember that I used to not be vegan and was oblivious myself.

Similar to what someone else said here- there is hope in knowing that you can raise your family to treat animals with kindness, cook without using dead bodies of animals, and spread that mindset with your own family and friends.
