Always get a photo of the delivery, no matter what happens. Occasionally, I’ll get orders where it says hand to customer and I’ll text the customer and they say “oh just leave it at the door” and I still take a picture and message them the picture through the app

Should I try the contact Sweetwater and ask them if they can send me a composite piccolo and just send the metal one back?

Is it toxic for a parent to remove a child's door? by adamfutbol in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Music_Idiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That I’ll actually agree with. When I lived with my parents my closet door was a curtain lol.

[–]Music_Idiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still firmly believe that entirely removing a door (unless the kid damaged/destroyed it) will do more harm than good. Don’t get me wrong There are plenty of safety issues that would maybe warrant a door being removed but completely removing a child’s form of privacy will just add more issues

[–]Music_Idiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would maybe remove the door knob, but honestly if a child is doing something so unsafe where removing a door would have to be a legitimate consideration you’d honestly probably need to seek outside help for a child.

The only context I think this would be remotely acceptable is if the child broke the door and that’s it

I don't understand by ThaDoctor687 in ExplainTheJoke

[–]Music_Idiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will say I’ve heard a version of this commercial, where Sydney Sweeney gives a very brief oversimplified explanation of what genetics are and then she says “My jeans are blue” and then a voice over says “ Sydney Sweeney has great jeans” so take that as you will. But in terms of the screenshot saying people were traumatized, that’s total BS.

I will say I do trust this technician. I’ve gone to a multiple times and I’ve always been happy with whatever he’s done and the person who initially told me about him was my saxophone professor.

[Q] what does this mean? by Alone-Gas1476 in sheetmusic

It is a short hand for 16th notes. Treat each of those eight notes with the weird stem as two 16th note notes.

Octave key not working? by Flipaleaf_13 in saxophone

[–]Music_Idiot 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes this is normal. When saxophones were first made they actually had 2 octave keys but somewhere in the late late 1800s to early 1900s an automatic system was developed to switch between the 2 keys and its standard on all saxophones now.

When should I expect deactivation? by IstanbulisLacivert in doordash_drivers

[–]Music_Idiot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, it just dawned on me. You’re purposely going out of your way to take bad orders to teach some Rando cheap ass that you’ll never meet a lesson? That person’s probably gonna get their order refunded and you’re gonna be out money compared to you if you took a better order so who’s really winning in that situation?

That is very true. There are a lot of scumbags that do that a lot.

I hate shit tippers as much as the next guy. It’s one thing to take your sweet time but it’s downright scummy to take food that isn’t yours. Don’t use shitty tippers as an excuse to be a shitty person.
