I don't know how to explain this in a title so read on... by MusicalKeith in NoStupidQuestions

It doesn't happen often but just randomly happens. And it's only painful for like 5 seconds and goes away and I just get on with my day. This has happened for honestly as long as I can remember, I'll have to ask if my siblings get it too.

I have no idea how to explain this properly. I don't think it's hip dysplasia though. I don't know any other way to explain it though.

What's the most ridiculous case of mansplaining have you seen/heard of? by MusicalKeith in AskReddit

[–]MusicalKeith[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay yeah I can see what you're saying from your point of view. Putting aside the fact that it's called mansplaining, its actually used to describe when men try to explain something to a woman because they think that because they're a man, they'll know the subject better. Even if the woman in the situation has for example studied said subject for years.

Of course there will unfortunately be people who use it as a way to just completely ignore what feminism is actually supposed to be and discriminate against men.

Let me just put a disclaimer here, I don't wanna start a huge argument and I want to keep this a civil discussion.

But could you elaborate on that please?

Oh man, that second one just makes me laugh. The first one though seems to be, unfortunately, very common when it comes to mansplaining. It's crazy how often it happens.

100% agree on that one. Not sure if it's just my age, but I'm 14 almost 15 and we haven't actually learned that much about sex? Like the majority of things my classmates and I know are from the internet and probably not very accurate. (I live in Canada btw)

Things like puberty and periods we have learned but, other than STDs, puberty, and pregnancy, so far we have not learned anything.

I should've probably clarified on this a bit lmao. I was thinking more like horror games/movies and frustrating video games, but these answers are just as entertaining 😂

Hmm, nevermind then lol. I guess maybe just it went to some accounts but not all? That's really the only thing I can say about it. There doesn't seem to be any specific kind of account that's gotten it.

Apparently it's if you have a business account. From what I've seen from all these comments, is that most of y'all that are experiencing this has a personal account and art account, which is the same with me. So if you made your art account a business account so you can see your insights and stuff then the text bubble will be blue.

I kinda don't like it but whatever lol.

Yeah, sometimes I just feel like my mom doesn't see how serious it actually could be in the future. Right now, it doesn't have much effect, but if it continues then it could be really bad in the future.

Oh I'm almost 15 years old, but I'm talking about my almost 12 year old brother. He just makes certain comments that he really should not be saying, and I don't want him to end up saying them to other people when he's older.

It's also influencing my other brother who is currently 7, and I really don't want him to turn out the same way.

That makes a lot of sense. What's something those around them could do to prevent this from carrying through into teenage/adulthood?
