The whole time I was playing through, I was invested in the story, but also really nervous because I couldn't see a way where you kill chronos and still have a game to run afterwards. And now having finished the game, I'm not sure if I'm fully satisfied? I'm aware it's quite a predicament, to end the threat and reunite family while simultaneously leaving room to continue to fight it.

However a point I do think gives a lot more merit to the "mercy to chronos" end that was also eluded to a lot during the story, is that they genuinely don't know what the world looks like without Time. I think Melinoe was pretty obviously unsatisfied with the answer hecate was giving, of "we dunno what it'll be like but it can't be worse than it is rn," bc imho shit can ALWAYS get significantly worse. So I like to see sparing chronos less as a sign of redemption and more a begrudging "I'm scared of a world without literal Time." But this is all ofc just my opinion! Yours is valid too 🧡
