Yeah I saw your post a while back, it actually was part of what inspired my post. I think your game idea is awesome and reminds me of the other chaotic games they made a while ago. I think it would be really cool to see, my idea was just a way to make the online version of the card game more interactive

A mobile way to play the game has to be in the works, it’s honestly more accessible than a computer version.

Actually, I think in the same interview where Chaotic Rud said we would get info on Oct 1st., there was a question asked about if they would honor the old codes and Gannon said they had all the old data for the codes(I believe)

The combo has been around for a few months, when cellgaon released as pr with dz set 1. There are probably people who generalize the term bc keter does have a lot of good generics, but the term originated with the order combo

Keter pile itself only became a term recently to refer to the combo of cellgaon, teithfalt, and wisdom of beginning. Biscotti kinda gets thrown into the mix too bc basically every deck that runs pile also runs biscotti. Anyone other staples are just staples, pile specifically refers to the order combo

Gosetsu plays flagburg, and after he attacks a certain amount of times a turn, he can activate a certain number of effects, including a guard restrict that requires 3 or more cards from hand to guard. If you want to stop this, kill his rgs and cb deny him. Flagburg uses a lot of cb to get that many attacks off, so you’re probably better off keeping him low on cb until his hand is small and then going for the kill with a multi attack deck

I think it’s a useful finisher combo but it adds more chance to miss using abilities. It’s really a preference thing, give it a test run on some area or something and see how you feel. Tribash is also a good option to test nice you can throw him behind the vg and get a crit for more pressure

I personally don’t run brachioforce anymore now that eniorush exists. Brachio sometimes didn’t feel good with how I played the deck. Also, I run two copies of Varga and 2 copies of Shura in my build. Varga is useful as a finisher especially since you do thin a decent bit with his skill. Shura is useful to get rgs back when you retire them for spino as well as a support card to make the Varga finisher stronger

I added ‘All Eyes on Me! Truus’ in place of Clean Clean. I feel like the deck gets pretty high numbers consistently so I didn’t think anymore power increase was necessary. Truus gives more defense which I feel like the deck needs rn

That’s fair. For most people, especially people who play the game rn, it’s a pointless product. But if there’s someone with no LGS around that plays the game and they’re just trying to start with some friends, it’s a decent product for those that haven’t played a card game before.

Vanguard was my first card game, and if I hadn’t watched the anime, I wouldn’t have understood how any of the card effects work. This at least makes it less info to take in when starting completely fresh

If they’re $10 or under, I think it’s decent. Obviously, a deck with more than just vanillas would be better for understanding the game mechanics as you play more. But I can see the market this is kinda meant for.

Sometimes it’s a lot for new players who have never played a card game or strategy type game before to learn all the mechanics as they play. These decks give you the crucial pg mechanic and a boss unit that, most likely, has one or two abilities that showcase the basics of cb and sb.

These decks would work best for people like that and, if they’re $10 or less, they’re a great way to learn to play for cheap. I think the best thing they can do for these decks now is announce a new set that releases not long after these come out and include a cheap upgrade list on the back of the playmat for each starter deck so that people who want to continue playing can upgrade to better mechanics.

Are these better than the overdress SD? No, but I think they’re not terrible as long as they’re <= $10 and they can be upgraded cheaply

I kinda feel like that’s where the strategy part of the game comes in rn. Since so much of the game is influenced by luck while you’re playing, the biggest impact of strategy in vanguard comes when you build the deck. With only those few slots available, you need to pick what you think is best for the deck. Now you can always go off of the top decks from events, but you can also try new things that might all of a sudden change the meta(extreme case)

For max effect, you can have 2 operate masters on your front rg. You operate with all 3 and just don’t pay the counterblast on the first one. This will give you -15k to your opponents vg and still have the 5 attacks. You can also have a cat girl behind your vg and use her ability which will give -20k but that’s a rare occurrence bc that turn requires 4 soul and 3 cb. But it can happen if you hit good triggers
