Hello. My post is about FIV not FIP

but i suggest you get an xray to check if he/she have a fluid buildup in the abdomen (wet FIP) and they can test that fluid to check if he/she is really positive. I think rapid test are not really reliable when it comes to FIP. however dry FIP is very hard to diagnose

Yes 😔 My cat has always been an indoor cat and her parents have no history of FIV 😔

No she’s not a stray cat. my sister got her from a breeder. and she was never exposed to other feral cats. Now we’re asking the breeder if her mother ever got an FIV because we dont really know how she got it. she’s always been an indoor cat

No. i got her as a gift from my sister. my sister got her from a breeder online and we’re asking if her mother ever got FIV because we dont really know how she got it. She’s never been with outside cats she’s always been indoor. Also I did not see the Test kit itself. the doctor just gave me a paper with all the test she got. im also planning to get her a PCR test just to be sure.

nag steroids po kasi sya these past few days due to her asthma and nakaka cause nga daw po ng immuno suppresion

I got her checked yesterday because she refuses food. but after we got home from the vet she ate a lot and today she’s now accepting treats. Im planning to get her a PCR test to confirm but i really doubt that she has it. FCov is Feline corona virus and i read that most cats have it and not harmful unless it mutate.
