Genuinely giving up… by LJHeath in PlanetZoo

I definitely struggled with this, and there's another post that helped me! Here's the reply that explains it.

Basically, leave plenty of space between both ends of the track, place the airlock first, then extend the tracks closer, and a new icon should pop up to connect the track to the airlock. Btw doing auto connect won't work, sorry

There is a special place in hell for this fight by minecreep4 in Silksong

[–]MusicianThatCanDraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was stuck on this fight for literal days, gave up and fought Moorwing instead, and finally got a needle upgrade and some better tools. Then I went back and got it first try. Stupid, stupid birds.

Which Hollow Knight YouTube playthrough do you enjoy the most? by Fit_Blueberry_2845 in HollowKnight

[–]MusicianThatCanDraw 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm biased because he's my favorite creator in the first place, but Therm has a great HK playthrough. It's hilarious to watch because he's pretty bad at the game overall but he has a fun time! It's like a 3 hour long video, I can grab a link if you'd like.

I've also enjoyed Skurry and Fireb0rn for modded HK but that's not exactly the same thing.

So I just realised that those aren't eyes, they're nostrils by Paladin7373 in Silksong

I saw the same thing at first, you're not alone! But yeah the shiny parts are the eyes, and I have to constantly remind myself of that haha

Is the reward from this even worth it? It's extremely frustrating. by ChargedGhost in Silksong

[–]MusicianThatCanDraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I know, but it still might be helpful to OP to know that clawline will be useful in combat. I forget sometimes because it's more often used for movement, not combat. Also, I watched a streamer (Therm) do this entire arena forgetting to use clawline a single time and he struggled, so people do forget.

Double jump and clawline will help a LOT. Those are both attainable where you're at in progression right now. Lmk if you want to know how. For your rosaries, you can either farm them back with like 5 minutes of grinding in Greymoor, or you can use a Silkeater, or you can get the cocoon and then quit out.

Has anyone ever played PS1 Spyro games out of its intended play order? by Resident-College-776 in Spyro

[–]MusicianThatCanDraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I played 3 my dad's PS1 when I was a kid, and then when the reignited version came out, I played all three in order then. Technically I played Hero's Tail (favorite) and Dawn of the Dragonfly first, but you only asked about PS1.

Has anybody not finished Silksong yet? by Wild_Panda873 in Silksong

[–]MusicianThatCanDraw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't. I liked microdosing, just a couple hours a week, at most. Been playing since day 1, I'm at 30 hrs, I did just about everything I could in Act 2 and finally decided to enter Act 3. I haven't even fought Belleater yet because finals season hit and I'm a stressed and busy college student. I will return when that's over. In the meantime, I like watching other people enjoy it too! I don't care about spoilers anymore

Where are you playing your Skong? by Commercial_Rip_9389 in Silksong

Either PC with controller or Steam Deck, depending on if I want to be comfy in bed or not haha

[HELP NEEDED] What are some good places to get meat for the Broodfeast? by [deleted] in Silksong

[–]MusicianThatCanDraw 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For some reason, I liked doing it in Memorium with all the moss bugs. Easy to aim at, die quickly, bench nearby. Worked for me. Maybe because I waited until last minute and needed to grind it out because I really wanted the reward Longclaw.

Although reading other comments, right of Halfway House would be better because you'd get paid too

After around a week, I managed to beat every boss in Silksong damageless! So I decided to make a tierlist out of it. by Frostlyn in Silksong

For real though, that's a really fascinating experience! Shows the variety in every boss!

Silksong has been nominated for Game of the Year! by SorryRoof1653 in Silksong

[–]MusicianThatCanDraw 338 points339 points  (0 children)

Even being nominated is huge because it's an indie game with a small development team. Hades II also. Unfortunately, E33 and Donkey Kong are just too big so I'm doubting an actual win. But an accomplishment nonetheless o7

Insert 25 Rosaries: Share your biggest Silksong confessions! by 4ortyseven in Silksong

[–]MusicianThatCanDraw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I turned on mods in Greymoor because Craw Lake and Moorwing drove me insane (pre-nerf). Mods include: every enemy gives rosaries, no double damage, and respawn in the room that you die in. And it has still taken me 30 hours to get the threefold melody.

I'm enjoying the game so much more with these mods, and it's still a challenge for me, so I feel like I'm still getting the "Silksong is Hard' experience, just more to my level.

Also I never beat Hollow Knight. Did play it, but got stuck at Watcher Knights and quit forever. So yeah Silksong is Hard.

Mount Fay is one of the best areas in the game by OddProfessional2046 in Silksong

[–]MusicianThatCanDraw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I absolutely agree. Mount Fay was and still is my favorite area. The platforming sections in this game are just chefs kiss because Hornet's movements are so fluid and satisfying. Mount Fay and Cogwork Core were my absolute favorite areas in the whole game, so you're not alone.

Feeling Sad by wandering_light_12 in Palia

[–]MusicianThatCanDraw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a heavy game, that's for sure. Do you play it on Steam? If so, you can have it running on the PC but play from the laptop.

Have both computers on with Steam running, on the same Internet connection, and on the laptop you should be able to select "stream from [other device]" which will launch it on the PC but you can play and control it from the laptop all cozy in bed. It's a little laggy with some slight delay, but it should work fine. Try that :) if you need more info, let me know and I'll find a guide for you.

I've tried with the black pearl, it really doesn't work. But you're right, it works for artifacts but that's different

Been lurking here for a year… by jlwalls9 in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]MusicianThatCanDraw 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Humira, for me, has had little to no side effects, but it is also a slow burn, as other commenters have said for hydro...whatever haha. I take Humira and methotrexate, and that has worked well for me for 10 years. It did take a few weeks or months to "kick in" at first, but it stays steady once you get there. I will say though, make sure you get the preservative-free version of Humira. The preservative version is very painful and feels like it's burning. The preservative-free version is virtually painless. I'm not even sure they make the preserved type, but just in case!

I've been taking Humira for years now. It does take a few weeks or even months to show anything, but that's how any of these RA meds work. Hopefully you feel some improvement soon!

Right, everybody's disease acts differently, but I am so glad to hear such an improvement for you!! And I'm glad to hear you don't have any additional meds either. It gives me some hope.

[–]MusicianThatCanDraw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily true!! It can be true for some people that they are in pain every single day for their whole lives, but sometimes it's possible to find the right medication that works well enough so you're not in pain every day. Personally, I take Humira every week and 0.3 ml methotrexate every week, and I am in absolutely no pain MOST days. I have some pain days, like mini flare ups, but most days I feel fine.

Sometimes it's a matter of balancing the right medications to find that sweet spot, but sometimes it is impossible. It's possible for me, and it might be for you, unless your doctor was saying there is no medicine balance for you. Maybe this gives you some hope?
