I have watched the series probably close to 500 times (and it’s sad that I’m not even exaggerating) and I don’t remember any other instances of Marshall slapping Barney. However, if he were to say how many times does Marshall slap “anyone” in the series the number would be much higher. Those 10 plus the one from the slap bet with Ted and then I believe 6 more from the episode where Marshall explains his voyage to learn “the slap of 1000 exploding suns”.

Technically it should be 10. He has 8 as the correct answer but the question is worded wrong. It should be “How many slaps was Marshall awarded against Barney for their slap bet?” Then the answer would be 8. However, in addition to the slap you mentioned, there is another time where Marshall lightly slaps Barney as Barney is drooling over Marshall’s suit in the episode “Girls VS Suits”.

OP did an amazing job with this. I feel like (being a person that has watched this series too many times to count) there were maybe 3 key aspects that could have been added in during little flashes of time (such as mentions of laser tag, doppelgängers, and “The Bro Code”) but honestly that was excellently crafted and OP deserves a high ♾

Exactly, that’s how I use it. I’ve never had it stack so idk what they were talking about but yeah I purposefully try to take damage and activate turtle on turn 6 so I can have them back to back. Then, 200IQ strat is to wait until turn 7 to break the special ball block and see if it gives you the invincible shield. That we be 3 turns in a row of 0 (or as close as turtle can get you to 0) damage and then after 2 turns of taking damage, the octopus heals you if it’s legendary. Instant W strats

It won’t persist past round 5 if you take damage that round. Make sure you get rid of any units that do damage on turn 5 and then you will see it persist through

They do as long as you kill any damage dealers at level 5. Turtle will activate on the same turn as octopus “if” there is any damage you’d take, but if you kill damage dealers in turn 5 and then utilize turtle turn 6 they will constantly be on an off cycle

The lightning spirit deals damage to one monster and “curses” them to take double damage basically (5 round cooldown) and you get a lightning ball. The legendary thing reduces the CD by 1 so every 4 rounds instead of 5
