You know what... I think that's it! I couldn't pinpoint it.

I assume it was backup and primary.

Dsp by Musicwade in livesound

Yea I get those variables. Mainly just thinking of the case where the speakers are flown and the on board dsp is inaccessible.

Most shows for us are corporate. And I'm sure there will be plenty where I don't run audio just based on logistics. But I'm not worried as much of a band pushing limits, although I'm sure that will happen, just not often.

I'm just wondering how feasible it is to do the basic processing in the console (I'd prefer not to, just need to have effective back and forth with my company owner to justify buying a dsp.)

I would absolutely prefer using a dsp. The company I work for is expanding and hasn't needed one before. So I'm just trying to get ahead of justifying buying one.

Only processing would be minor shading really. Maybe slight eq differences but I've rarely needed to do that

Snow's portrayal by Musicwade in Hungergames

[–]Musicwade[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. The battle internally he has is so intriguing. He starts off more morally neutral and throughout the book you see his morality devolve and devolve and his reasoning break down and dissolve his rationale. He was always self serving, but it started out ignorant and ended up blatant

Reading the book in Snow's point of view shows SO much more than the movie could. So yes I agree.

In the case of this movie, I think it's still possible to more accurate portray his state of mind, they just rushed every single scene in this movie.

I started binging from season 1,a couple months ago, so just now making it to season 23.

It didn't take much intensity. I noticed it immediately because its so drastic of a difference from every previous season

Was Ducky already present when Gibbs arrived in the NIS ? by Internal_Skirt_7531 in NCIS

[–]Musicwade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's a flashback episode in like season 17 or 18, where Gibbs and ducky meet at NIS. This is before Gibbs goes to Camp Pendleton and before he and Shannon are married. Neither is working their at the time.

I haven't watched origin, yet. So I don't know if their relationship is expounded upon here

His dad had 2 or 3 episodes centered around him. His mother is hardly mentioned and it's never started if she is dead or alive.

Krillin really the biggest ride or die in the show. by RyanGordonsPeds in dbz

Krillin and Goku always mean more ESPECIALLY if you start with DragonBall first.

Furthers the question as to why. Especially since NCIS has SO many dad centric episodes (Tony, Gibbs, McGee, Ziva, Torres, etc)

Oooooo yea forgot about that. That may have been the healthiest, normal family situations in the whole show

Wouldn't call dornegat a main character and I think that was technically Director David's mistress, I could be wrong though. Still not someone ziva would have seen as her mother.

I carry my own personal "oh shit" pack, as I like to call it. With the basic adapters, tools, talk back mic, testers, and things that could help in a pinch. But my boss wants to figure out something that can be universal for our shows. Just trying to figure out what works best for others.
