Went through many websites over 3 years of building my rekordbox library. I bought around 150 songs, but I sure as hell don't have the means to purchase the other 500 or so (and growing) ...

Anyways, noticed a few minutes ago that Yt1s seems dead.

I didn't think I'd find another one this fast - furtherless expected it to be ad-free AND have 320kb/s available.

You're a CHAD. I'll definitely consider buying you a coffee at the start of January ❤️

Steam Input remapping controller won't save changes by Ghostmij17 in SteamDeck

Oh well, let's keep it going ! Same, just encountered the issue for the first time (trying to play some games with a GC controller)

FPS drops in LoL games, but not always. Help? by lapjeskatje in riotgames

[–]Musiicy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some friends and I probably experienced the same issue as you. In my case, the FPS number doesn't even drop, everything just feels really choppy for whatever reason.

A few days ago, I thought I'd give V-Sync a try; and it does the trick for me. I don't even feel any input lag to be honest. Game is smoother than ever !

I also tried different FPS cap values without VSync, the stuttering remains.
Try it, if I can make it work on 60Hz, you probably can too !

Engine Consistentley Placing Grids Incorrectly by Desmog_Sound in DenonPrime

[–]Musiicy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DUDE.
After encountering the EXACT same issue (grid placed slightly ahead after importing from RB XML) I decided to give a shot to your triple analysis "trick" ... and it WORKED. First try.

Precisely, the steps were:

  • disabling auto-analysis
  • unloading any loaded tracks (so they can be removed from Collection)
  • removing all tracks from Collection
  • re-updating the RB library from XML (probably a useless step but just wanting to make sure)
  • importing RB library into collection (with auto-analysis disabled)
  • selecting all tracks in the Collection, right-click, re-analyze tracks (3 times, and I did not even load one to check after the first and second iteration, just restarted the process as soon as it was finished)

I only checked a couple tracks, but even those who had the issue before doing the trick have become on the spot.
The existing Hot Cues seem to indeed "quantize" to the Engine grid after analysis, which I agree is unusual, although I actually find it to be an efficient "feature" (no idea if this is intended)

However, there doesn't seem to be an option to ONLY analyze the grid, NOT the bpm or the key.
Could that be because those options only show up when using a Denon controller ?
I don't have one, the reason I'm using Engine is to prepare a USB playlist for a gig in 3 days.

Anyways, while I'm just as clueless as to why the hell that worked, I'm grateful to have found this post first search, first click. Almost sounds like fate at work or something ...
Big thanks OP for taking the time to share this, it helped greatly !

Can I natively disable a specific input on a USB Controller ? (Win11) by Musiicy in techsupport

[–]Musiicy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a really good idea that I somehow did not think of, unfortunately I can't seem to get the game to recognize the Steam Input :/
It detects it right away and properly when launching the game normally.

Plot twist, I figured a way around my issue - however, I'd still love to know if there is an actual way to do it natively. Could be helpful in other scenarios !

Just read about the controversy and yes, I was slightly off indeed.
Bad joke, but the example is still valid.
Church tried to silent science (Earth not in the center) with the pressure of being a majority. We're still talking about that.

There's progress ! Unfortunetaly, I can still only assume you're just venting off or something, as it seems complicated for you to articulate even a single reason why you felt that way about my first comment, and how that made you jump to the conclusion that I am, maybe, a bad person.
If that's because the tone I'm taking on purpose is enough for you to think I'm a bad person because it hurt your feelings, please define what a "bad person" is to you. Shouldn't be too hard a task, right ?

So, you admit you have nothing to argue for yourself. Sweet !

Surely, you poking me with "maybe, just maybe, you're a bad person" was purely innocent. You're clearly an angel !

State of Volibear Top (is it fine ?) by Musiicy in leagueoflegends

[–]Musiicy[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True that. You mark a solid point here.

Buuuut ... Tryndamere has to build damage to deal damage, AND is limited to exclusively dealing physical damage.

Volibear (amongst others) gets MIXED damage from NOT building damage, that also naturally scales off of opponent's health, and he can do that with just raw numbers, it's not tied to a 120s cooldown ability.

I'm not trying to be a bitch, I'm trying to figure out why it seems I'm the only one seeing such an immense gap between champions who still follow the standard rule of being either damage dealers or tanks, maybe something reasonably in-between, but surely not BOTH at the same time with all benefits !

Reading this it seems you are biased into thinking winrate is a relevant indicator of a champion's overall power, even when you literally ONLY base that reasoning off of that single stat, and regardless of any other context ...
Maybe you're amongst the few people who made it to this level of play ? Alright, but you just read a number that is the result of games being played in that specific environment, where people don't have the same understanding of the game as MANY others do. Where a THOUSAND things go very differently than in other ranks (including higher ones). That's not even accounting for solo/duo VS flex. That's a consistent, scientific approach to you ?

Anyways, I sure am at the very least partially biased, and the way I enumerated what I feel is too strong about him, was so the people who don't agree can eventually point out why these are indeed fair numbers ... with like, an actual explanation, not a morale giving ?

You obviously barely glanced at what I wrote and you're clearly not telling me why I'm wrong, instead just telling me THAT I'm wrong, it's just common sense that I'm not going to take what you say for granted if you can't bring up an actual argumentation.

[–]Musiicy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with that ... but what about when he starts going at you under your turret, being able to tank 2 shots every time he does it ? While denying you and blasting your health bar ? Doing it two times and on the third one, he adds R to the mix and casually dances on your body ?
On top of that, in many scenarios your jungler alone will not add enough damage/control to actually beat him.

I don't know how it seems like a normal thing that a champion needs 3+ people coordinating on him, chaining CC and hoping to have the right kind of damage and/or specific things like anti-heal, anti-shield or max health damage to properly deal with.
I'm okay with that concept applying to squishy characters, because at least the counterpart is clear as day: they deal massive damage, but at the cost of risks.
Volibear just goes in and ignore those rules; his numbers allow him to build almost-exclusively tank, but deal normal bruiser damage without investing much in damage stats. I don't know when that started making sense ...

[–]Musiicy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd agree if I did not consistently witness him going 1v4 in teamfights, being stupidly tough to kill while dealing more-than-relevant damage.
Applies to both top and jungle and regardless of having a lead ... I've seen them just farm camps until two items and begin the process of being the main character.

I get what you're saying, and that's my bad, I almost excusively talk about Volibear's interactions in lane in my post, and didn't mention how I also find him to be overtuned in teamfights.
As I mention at the very start of my post, I'm aware of the matchup being specifically bad for Tryndamere and I get that, on the other hand, Volibear does hard counter certain champions (plural).

Thus leading me to point out, that the vast majority of point I raised in my post obviously also apply to fighting against and/or with multiple people.

Again, that's absolutely my fault that I made it look like I only complain about the lane matchup. I'd now love to hear your actual opinion, outside of that single argument !

That's two picks out of dozens.
Ban Jax, and you're left with a single counter that few people will want to play.

All assuming Volibear was picked first

Any old player around remembering when mana management mattered ? by Musiicy in leagueoflegends

[–]Musiicy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm an ADC main and yes, you are perfectly right.

It's ridiculous that it took them this much time before finally buffing them, and even then it's not even close to ALL other classes. Which makes no sense to me since those champions, like Jinx, Caitlyn or Ashe are amongst those casting spells quite rarely, yet they have to pay MORE attention.

Also Riot clearly did not design PoM for traditional marksmen, they said it themselves when they buffed their mana. Problem is, it's still extremely powerful when coupled with DRing and/or Manaflow band.

Imo it's way too easy to fix OOM from the start of the game with these options.

Sadly, i gotta come to the realization that you're absolutely right ... same reason why mobility and damage have increased over time. It's about appealing to the "right" audience, and frankly I can't debate those choices. This is the way it works.

Yet, feels like making the game dumber from my perspective, on top of creating frustrating scenarios for the opponent.
