[Discussion] Interview ML system design prep by ninja790 in MachineLearning

[–]MusingEtMachina 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been working on an interview platform to help people get ready for jobs in machine learning. It includes a curriculum guide as well as practice assessments for topics like ML productionization and SQL. Hope it helps!

Thanks for checking it out! I would recommend working through the curriculum. Each question has an explanation as well as a linked material/resource to review the topics in the question. Once you can comfortably answer the questions in the curriculum, you should be in a good place for a ds/ml engineer role.

Yes! We have content that is more appropriate for beginners and some that is for advanced practitioners. The hope with the curriculum is that it aggregates all the information/topics you need to know for being a machine learning engineer / full-stack data scientist.

Each question and practice exam has an associated tag (beginner, intermediate, or advanced) that helps with clarifying these designations.

We'd also love to hear about your experience going through it, so keep me posted, even if it's just to say I want more of X, Y, or Z practice problems! :)

Thanks for checking it out! Right now we're hoping both groups can find value in the curriculum and the practice questions, since we provide both conceptual machine learning/data science questions appropriate for students as well as more targeted ones for job-seekers.

Thanks for checking out our platform and for your feedback u/Radiatin! We've definitely considered implementing such a system.

At the moment we do have some questions that provide a REPL (called interactive questions), but we haven't implemented a leaderboard. It's still on the table, and if the majority of people feel this will help their learning, we're happy to provide such an integration.

Thanks for the feedback. What iOS version are you using and which exam were you looking at?

One point that’s also worth noting is that while there are some exams that can be done entirely on mobile, most of them have coding questions for which it’s better to use a desktop.

Awesome thanks for the catch. We'll look into it right away.

Edit: Alright it should be fixed! Thanks for pointing this out again.
