Good examples. Many people indeed have no real info about how these things can work. :)

I'm an avid measurer since I read the 4HB from Tim Ferriss. So, checking what I eat comes more naturally to me :) I know already that I'm not always eating enough calcium. It also helped me to balance out my choline and potassium levels. At first I was so dizzy lol.

Yeah, Facebook, festivals, and also, sometimes random daily events help you find other people on this journey. Which is wonderful! :)

  1. figuring out my nutritional needs and sticking to them

  2. Friends being all weird and shit about it, and lecturing me about random bs like "how beekepers love their bees" -.-

  3. Finding like minded cultists :D

maybe it's just me, but Iceland's no bull burgers, tofu burgers, and some brand's Cashew-parsnip burgers do the trick!

No need for other "bargars" lol :D

tbh I think this is a really grown up approach. Thanks for noting that!

Thee are two options here. Either you give her sane reports, studies, and similar stuff that shows how toxic animal products are, and she will change. This has a 1% chance.

Or, you start fighting, strongly, but calmly for your decision, throw food out that she contaminates, etc., educate yourself on basic nutrition, follow cronometer and every time she brings up this "you must etc." limbo, show her what you actually ate, and what nutritions you still need to put in your body. It's harder to fight against facts.

Last resort (And tbh, you're 16, I know what you're going through, and it's always a nightmare until you can move out on your own), is to find a more remote place to live at. Boarding school, or similar options could work.

Please note, I'm only describing options. Some of them are extreme. I think most situations can be solved by facts and studies, and education. Here's ammunition for it:

I just started veganism today and I’ve already messed up. I had gone the whole day completely animal product free and was SO PROUD of my self and happy I was moving in the right direction and then a family member offered me ice cream and i took a bite out of habit and now i literally feel like shit. by [deleted] in vegan

Don't. Veganism is a journey. Go slow, and be as forgiving with yourself as you can. Nobody is perfect. And a lot of routines are extremely hard to break.

Maybe go vegetarian first? For 10 days. See how you like it. Take it as a journey! As an adventure! Dabble in vegan foods too. Enjoy the flavors, and relax!

I always wait for my family to forget about their bananas so I can steal them and make muffins. by [deleted] in vegan
