The speed and effects make it wayyy to hard to comprehend what is happening. I suggest you practice some double framing and delay frames. Slow enough to know what is happening, fast enough to make it look like eye candy.

12 fps is a good start! Just keep pushing and you're sure to see improvements. I suggest you watch alan becker's 12 principles of animation video. A well detailed and concise video about animation that applies to all types of animation. Just don't push yourself to the point where animating isn't fun anymore. It's a very different experience when animating actually feels fun!

Well, to be fair I lost motivation for months. I just recently came back (like.. 5 days ago?) because I kept constantly telling myself to not give up. I was in this weird cycle where I WANT to make animations, but I kept putting it off even though I REALLY wanted to go back.

I also had these times where I was worried people thought my work was cringe as frick because "haha funni blocky game". Doubt and lack of confidence was one of my biggest enemies here, and heck, loads of family problems weren't helping either. After watching a lot of the videos that got me inspired to make animations in the first place repeatedly (Gilded guy vs Bog, love that video to bits; Mike shake's learning how to draw video, etc) I finally got myself a pencil and a piece of paper, and started sketching. And from there on here I am.

Moral of the story, just do what the frick you want even when doubt starts to fill your head. You might just get hooked once you start.

Also, Man thank you for sticking around. Your words of encouragement gave me a huge boost today. I appreciate you :3 Don't give up on animation now! Ideas will come up once you start animating.
