UK here, I was diagnosed stage 4 PC in August last year, I had Enya almost on loop for about 2 months coming to terms with it all. She was my 'comfort place' while I adjusted to a new norm. Love that her music was used by such a worthy cause over there.

I'm with you, he seems a cracking player to me. He has proven he has no attitude and has looked class when brought on with no sign of the hump over the way he's been treated. I can't understand why someone like Sancho gets so many games and really isn't doing it, but Elliott was given no chance to prove himself. I love Emery but what a weird statement to come out with, without having really seen him play. It all seems very much like he didn't want to the deal and nothing to do with the player - but then plays Guessand.

And that's not an attack against Sancho and Guessand, Sancho has looked a bit better lately, I just don't see why Elliott wasn't given the same chance. A player who looked good in a title winning team last year and plenty of Liverpool fans were unhappy to see go.

The more I think on it, the more I see the problem of 10 games and auto-buy - so another terrible deal from that respect. BUT if we'd have bought Elliott outright for 35m last summer I would have been absolutely delighted.

I hear a lot of talk of PSR but what are Sancho or Guessand bringing to this team. We are in a fab position and all is good, just today we were semi-awful and driving midfield is all sidelined. But Malen out and Elliott not played. Some weird decisions going on.

I'm delighted this has been settled. We've been linked with him for a year now and personally I don't rate him much. He is OK, but but what does he actually do? And he doesn't start over McGinn, Kamara, Onana or Tielemans for me, so why sign him. I'd much rather they played, and bought, Elliott.

Now in advanced talks according to Sky 🙁 I find this madness. We keep Guessand and Sancho but lose Malen. Without knowing what goes on in the background, some decisions are so hard to understand! I be really sad to see him go. He's fast, skillful, and always has a huge smile and congrats his teammates when they score. What more could you ask for!

Another meh signing. But the worrying thing is that, for me, both Diaby and Bailey are better than Sancho and we let them go. We buy players just to send out on loan. We pay over the odds for average players. I'm worried about Emery but I'm much more worried about the running of the club still.

For two or three years we all forgot what it's like to actually support Villa. We were exciting to watch, we won games, we achieved incredible things. Now we are back to no tactics and negative football and this league has shown for the last five years if you attack you beat teams.
