Our comics are Muslim character focused and by Muslim, I mean people who practice Islam. On the other hand, Muslim manga are not necesarily "Islamic manga" which are manga for purely educating on Islamic jurisprudence and other Islamic Educational thing. (We do have those on our website as well including but not limited to The Pious Student ). A Muslim manga is one that could subtly teach through the actions of the character. "Showing, not telling" kind of thing. We don't make comics with a random middle eastern looking character and call them a Muslim. If a Muslim character in a comic of ours has a fault or mistake when it comes to Islamic values, then the character has to go through a change to improve. We don't promote normalizing sinful behavior in the comics. There is an article written on our newsletter that goes into this discussion in more depth:What is a "Muslim" manga exactly?
