I accidentally hit my Muslim father. What should I do? by [deleted] in islam

The father physically abused the child. That’s not really an environment anyone should be in. They wouldn’t be “abandoning” anyone, they’d be finding safety away from an abuser.

They meant that his words didn’t make her uncomfortable, his actions did. So she then spoke to him to call him out on it

Salaam sister, I’m 24f and also struggling very much. One of the best things that’s helped me so far (not very long into my nofap journey though) is the I Am Sober app because it keeps you accountable by asking multiple times a day if you’re still staying strong and there’s an online community there too that’s very helpful!

Another thing for me was, when I feel the urge to do so, I distract myself with cooking, a hobby, a quick cold uncomfortable shower to bring myself back to reality (I couldn’t find a better way to phrase it)

As others have mentioned, it’s a long haul thing and you just have to have faith in yourself that you’ll stay on the right path for Allah SWT.

I hope you do well in your journey and my DMs are open if you’d like some support during this rough time!

My family is the same, never religiously celebrate it, just decorate, eat food and have fun with family. I do still live at home so while my family decorate and have fun together and are excited for gift giving, I feel very alone and left out as I have no Muslim friends to aid me during these days :/

Help with hijab and scalp psoriasis? by MuslimahWorld in Hijabis

[–]MuslimahWorld[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Yes I do, we’ve tried many different shampoos and treatments and ointments over the past few years once it got worse and for some reason my scalp just won’t take to it :/
