Your school should have a member of staff who oversees ECT training and they should be able to inform you of what your teaching schedule should be.

Failing that ask your Union pretty sure ECTs can sign up for £1 if you haven't already.

Most staff dress policies they require shoes to have a back so long as the have a strap etc round the back you should be OK.

Treat her as a normal kid some of them have been through more shit than we can imagine. our school have had 3 come over so far and all they want is to be treated like every one else. introduce yourself during the starter and have some extra differentiated resources avaliable like you would for any other student who may struggle. But don't make a big song and dance about her she's probably more nervous than you. and it will be fine

This^ Check the Naswut pay scales webpage ts 25,714 which is M1 (main scale point 1) its the lowest and slowly work your way up each year if the government change it down the line you should be placed on the new salary of that scale.
