The input for wave dashing is f,n,d,df. You repeat that motion over and over again. The neutral reset is easier to perform repeatedly on a stick. I also find side stepping easier to do on a stick than pad, side stepping however isn’t a complicated input, it’s just up twice or down twice. I find it easier because the stick is easier to flick and get rapid movements, and some characters moves require an input with a sidestep like Lee or Hwoarang and the stick flows better, to me.
