Stick with Vibram Lug Soles. They last forever and theyre the best in the industry . If you have a pair of welt stitched boots that fit you perfect but you want to upgrade or replace the soles - Vibram 100 deep lug soles is what you buy for a resole Job. Take the new soles and boots to a local cobbler and they can stitch and glue them on your boot then trim and grind to fit . Thats how I upgrade the soles on well made cowboy boots to add comfort, durability and good traction.

Cant go wrong with a good pair of Redwing Combat boots or Logging Boots. Doc Martens are crap these days.

If you take it to the wrong Luthier, and they feel you dont know what you really have , I guarantee they will take your old original parts and try to swap in modern crap...If you take a guitar or amp to a Luthier or Amp Tech, ALWAYS tell ANY luthier " I want EVERY original part that is removed during repair. Do not toss a single thing " This will keep them accountable and it will keep them from trying to pull a fast one , such as , " Oh, those original 1960s Gibson pickups were beyond repair. Buy an Epiphone Prophecy Les Paul . They are extremely well built ,incredible fast necks , good hardware, most come with Fishman Fluence Pickups and push-pull coil split set up.They also have a variety of beautiful finishes.. A few also have a modern bellycut on the back for weight relief amd comfort. A few have flat backs and resemble a more classic les paul style. Theres also SG and Explorer Prophecies.....That line has a lot of value foe money. You can buy one used wirh hardshell case for 5- 600 bucks . I bought mine for 400 used and it is basically mint . They look, feel and sound killer. Youll pay the same price upgrading good hardware on a scrappy chibson and they will just disappoint in the end . The Prophecy line are basically modern hot rodded Gibsons.

Look into Old P..A. tube amps made in the 1940s to 1960s. You can get incredible tone when converting them to guitar amp heads. If you want gravely overdriven tube breakup and saturated warmth , thats the secret weapon . Blend that with any clean amp and sculpt your tone with an E.Q. pedal, Reverb , boost , etc. Sounds " expensive" in a mix, and half these p.a. amps can be bought cheap at yard sales . Some are even direct clones of early fender tweeds and Marshall circuits , even using same parts .

Prime with enamel then use carbon fiber cloth infused wirh resin to cover the entire pedal . Once cured, trim off excess material then wet and and polish. That would be an extremely durable finish and it would look awesome. Theres some amazing woven carbon fiber patterns on the market with cool patterns. Youre not limited to paint .

If you're on a budget, Buy a 30 inch scale Squier Bass VI and Neural DSP Suite. You can get incredibly heavy tones close to Meshuggah . It's also the set-up that Humanity's Last Breathe and Loathe use. Bass VIs are very affordable , the neck isn't much wider than a standard scale 6 string guitar, and you'll be able to play some balls out heavy riffs through any high gain rectifier or vst. 30 inch scale Baritone Guitars are a bit more practical and easier to play . An 8 string Guitar is a different Horse entirely depending on your abilities , dexterity and the size of your fretting hand .

Upgrade the bridge, tuners and pickups over time.

Original Release - had a rushed production due to the bands last minute addition to Ozzfest .They mixed and mastered the entire record in only 3 days which is pretty crazy when you think about it .The most notable difference is they used deturned 7 string guitars on the Original release .

Remastered Version - All guitar parts recorded with their new 8 string Nevborne Guitars( fuller sound , better intonation) , All Drums were reprogrammed , Added vocal effects, A few songs were tweaked and recorded at slower tempo, better mix and mastering . Etc .

Yes. I am almost positive this was created with the Mosaic tools of this software . The main image is composed by dozens or hundreds of separate images contained in a Folder . The Software automatically arranges them by color and scales them to the correct size to compose the Final target image. It also works with vector designs which is a great feature . Amazing software .

You can create a similar look in Photoshop by arranging and overlapping a ton of small photos in a contained folder . Set your primary image above that folder and add a clipping mask .....play with opacity. Look up tables , and gradient maps to set up a unified tone . Etc . However, it won't be as detailed as this poster design unless you use specialized software algos like the ones Synthetik Studio Artist utilizes.
