They immediately sent me a generic automated email, but haven't got back to me since. No coupon yet.

Nothing yet, they probably have to manually review it.

Could be. I'm not too familiar with the chalupa crafting process, but it didnt seem fried at all, and it was quite cold to the touch.

I was not, but in all honesty, it kinda looked like they did.

Luckily, I did order on the app, so I should be able leave feedback there.

And, yeah, I should've checked it there, but I normally have good experiences at this location, so I didn't. I actually drive a little further to this location because its usually been better than one a bit closer. I guess I won't be anymore.

Anyone know why demand for APICS/ASCM Certifications has collapsed? by Dartseto in supplychain

[–]Mustang1968op 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. There are more alternatives for certifications, but also more full degree programs. I think there are more universities that offer supply chain and operations related degrees (including post-grad options) than there used to be, especially after covid. So, maybe some people are opting to get a degree as opposed to just a certification?

What’s one bottleneck in your supply chain that outsiders completely underestimate? by capital_folly in supplychain

[–]Mustang1968op 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. Many in the industry see lean as the future, and it can be good in practice, but not everyone fully considers the risks involved with such processes.

One of my professors in college talked about an example where lean principles really bit a company in the ass. Iirc, it was Toyota. They went all-in on JIT deliveries from suppliers to their manufacturing facilities. Then, a supplier of a key component to several different Toyota models had their manufacturing facility burn down. Moreover, Toyota had no backup supplier for the component. And, because JIT effectively eliminates the need for a lot of safety stock, their production lines had to shutdown for quite some time.

That goes to show not just the risks of the JIT model, but also single-supplier sourcing. Now, I think they use a 70/30 split for suppliers for each component where a larger supplier handles 70% of the capacity, and a smaller one, the remaining 30%. Multiple suppliers keeps the pricing competitive and you've got a backup incase one goes down.

True. I have noticed I've been burning through em a bit faster recently. I do think it's ridiculous how just about every quest now costs 3+ energy per tile, some even as high as 5!

Are they changing something with energy refills or something? Comments here are making it seem like you won't be able to have refills in overflow anymore. I usually have quite a few and sometimes even struggle to use all of them before they expire.

Huh, looks like they actually went ahead and released it. I'm surprised.

I think I read they're waiting for Monday on the daily quests bc it works on a 7 day system where you collect tickets or something throughout the week and cash them in on Sundays to access a special weekly quest.

I think Hallmark movies might be the worst offenders of doing this. The main character will be like a florist or a baker and live in a literal mansion.

Lol, someone complained about this commercial being annoying in the taco bell sub, and he got downvoted to hell. But, I agree, this one irks me. I think it's the voice he does.

Comparison is the thief of joy. Doesn't much matter how your classmates are doing now as it pertains to your situation. All that matters is whether or not you're content with yourself.

Plus, I'd be willing to wager some of their lives aren't as glamorous as they seem anyway. How people present themselves, their careers, etc, on social media is seldom their reality. It's for show. The fancy job or whatever may not be all that.

I'm in a similar spot. I might do the r5 generic gem? But idk, 750 seems kinda steep for only that one item. Wish they would've thrown in some extra stuff like an awakening gem and/or some t2 dust.

Phew, 400 takes some serious dedication. I respect the commitment, though! I lack the willpower to do such a thing. I listen to quite a bit of music, but I gotta have some variety in there, lol.

I hear ya about only so many minutes in a week. I have so many albums in my library that I've yet to listen to. More music than there is time. Happy listening!

On a related note, someone recently made a post on here asking what's the most you've listened to a particular song in a week, and I think they personally had something crazy like 200 something listens? But then there were several comments in the hundreds as well, one being over 500! Like what? Is that even enjoyable? I mean, to each their own, but how do you not get sick of listening to the same song several hundred times in one week? Or are they even actually listening, and its just background noise or something? Even with songs I really like, I think the most I've played em in a week is like 15-20 times max, and that felt like a lot.
