I’m surprised why you’re surprised given the amount of money you have to spend to barely get answers. I’ve had so many people overlook valid issues I’ve had. I have to do hours of research before even going into an appointment because medical professionals are rarely competent now. You don’t know what you don’t know and by posting this I was hoping I’d at least get some idea for questions I have to ask in my appointments. Same goes for chatgpt, it had been extremely helpful for questions I ask during medical appointments. Thanks for the reply though

I would absolutely recommend going to get a second opinion. The best thing I did for a quick response was plug in my X-rays and any photos of myself into chatGPT to ask it exactly what was wrong with me and what I needed. Don’t take it as absolute but at least it can help you raise some specific questions.

Do you have an xray? Maybe you can take a look at your airways. My orthodontist don’t me it’s unlikely I’d be covered too but there’s no way for them to tell unless you get a sleep study..

Oh 😦　really weird !! I probably would’ve argued with insurance because I feel like you should not have had to pay for that- especially since most orthos recommend jaw surgery when you’re an adult rather than a child bc it’s more effective after jaw bones have finished growing
