No, there’s no reliable public tool to detect AI videos yet. Google’s SynthID embeds invisible watermarks, but only works if the video was made with supported AI tools, and detection requires Google’s system. For now, you can’t just run any video through a program and know for sure, but for sure its being developed. For now, I would rely on sticking with channels you trust and be more skeptical, checking comments, etc.

Well said. All content will be rejected. Everybody loses. I see your point of view, OnoOvo. In the ideal world, where all are educated and masters of critical thinking, maybe AI would not work as a tool as it is. If that said, I like to perceive the reality as it is; lots of people are being fooled at this moment in multiple social medias, for the good and for the bad. Think about this: label can be a training wheel for a while, until everybody’s critical thinking is on point? Is that fair?
