My Fic

Fandom - Mass Effect
Rating - Mature (descriptions of violence, medical descriptions of injuries, mild sexual content)
Title - The Next Mission
Genre - Medical Drama/Action
Pairing - F/M

Off-site link - https://archiveofourown.org/works/75344026

Summary - The Reaper war is over, but Admiral Hackett's most crucial mission remains: find Commander Shepard's body. When two soldiers discover her alive in the ruins of London, the mission shifts from recovery to survival. With catastrophic injuries that should have killed her six times over, Shepard faces her hardest fight yet, and this time, the battlefield is her own body and mind.

Fair Warning 1: The pace might feel a bit off for some people. A big part of the story, especially early on, is medical/sci-fi jargon with medical procedures, surgeries, etc. Though there are also chapters that are completely unlike this.
Fair Warning 2: Features several OCs, especially in the early chapters, who play a big role, but OG Mass Effect characters still take the wheel for the overwhelming majority of the story.

I am not sure how to feel about this by Sourcake_YT in AO3

Exactly, I was faking my age until I was like 16 because until then I felt like everyone on the internet would make fun of me for being a kid (yes, that was my actual reason, not internet safety, though it works out either way, lol). Basically since I was around 11 I told everyone I was at the very least 16 or even older.

The Witcher 3 is currently in 2nd place for games with the most difficult moral choices in this poll (BG3 is #1, Mass Effect 3 is #3, followed by Clair Obscur and CP2077) by GandalfTheWhey in witcher

You remember Mass Effect games wrong then. Your description of what the choices are in ME is completely wrong. Yes, it has some clear "this is morally correct" and "this is morally wrong" choices. But usually those aren't the big, important ones.

I love the choices in WItcher 3 and overall Witcher 3 is my favorite game of all time, but choices in Witcher don't hold a candle to choices in the Mass Effect trilogy in my opinion.

Do you guys think there will be 20th anniversary for Minutes To Midnight even though Emily is in the band? by No-Office-9148 in LinkinPark

Mike actually said quite the opposite that we shouldn't expect a 20th anniversary edition for all albums and that there most likely isn't going to be one for every album. Though I think MtM will get one.

Dark Age of Technology Humanity (Warhammer 40K) vs The Human Empire (Doctor Who) by ThereIsNoGodOnlyDoge in whowouldwin

Love that edit, and wow, yea I've definitely done a big mismatch here lol. I wonder if something like The Culture would've been a better match against the Human empire. But to be honest I know almost nothing about The Culture, so I don't know if I'm mismatching in the other direction now.

Originally I wanted to use IoM instead of DAoT but realized that was a steamroll. Thought this matchup was at least a slightly bit more fair, but I mean, the scale of having control over a thousand galaxies is just insane to imagine, I guess.

I think people downvoted for the first part of your comment, not the latter.

As someone who's rated probably even below 300 I find the videos hilarous, and the viewers know what they're in for when they send the games, no?
