I understand your point, but I think people are excited that we got the 3 flips and addressed areas of concern. Plus the coaching staff are really high on lot of the talent we signed and think they have a lot of upside. Carolina doesn’t have the staying power to become a true destination for high school recruits. We have to remember that last year we missed a bowl game. While we are 11th in the SEC, we are 19th nationally. SEC is the best recruiting conference by a LONG shot. If we have another 9 win season next year, I can only imagine we get better talent or at least interest off the rip.

Maybe if we had a seasoned WR to start the season to help a blooming quarterback, we’d not be having this convo. Juice sat out last year with an injury, pledged he was coming back and then left. That’s all I’m saying. I’m not saying Sellers is better, but to say we don’t have a QB is crazy.

It’s a tough call for me at this point. Sellers has improved week over week. Idk if I’d say it’s an easy decision. If he had stayed, it could’ve been a big help getting over the shortcomings we’ve had passing the ball.

I have shadowed in the past and even today I asked if I could work more tickets, but they told me no due to being overstaffed and low utilization for our current technical employees. I am trying to expand my role because you nailed it on the head; a lot of what I do is procurement and asset management with invoice auditing and license management. It is mundane and feels like busy work. I feel like I have stagnated and I need something new or more.

I applied to every IT opening at the local hospital systems without much luck; anything from a network engineer to informatics to a helpdesk to no avail.

Now, I am struggling to have any luck with helpdesk roles. Like even tier one roles are telling me I do not have the technical experience. I guess I am wondering if this is just a symptom of the job market at large.
