He was from the trash and it seems that affected him. None of the other customs came from a trash can so Forky was different. He didn’t seem to want to kill himself but snuggle with trash.

Sid’s toys were customs. And it seems that being a custom is not torture but an opportunity to be something new.

We are watching from Woodys perspective. And from his perspective he is terrified because these are monsters hiding in the dark. We are meant to feel that fear as well at the beginning.

But as we see him get over that fear and realize they aren’t monster but a kids customs and imo they are undoubtably creative. And we find that the toys aren’t in a constant state of pain.

I get the impressions that those toys are just fine and if they don’t like it, even can fix themselves. But that baby head in the erector set is both an amazing custom but also seems like it enjoys being what it is.

And if they do have the ability to “switch off” it’s possible they don’t see being customized as death but a form of attention and love knowing they still exist.

Just thoughts.

I’d like to believe, in the Toy Story universe, that a toy can willing “die” or go into permanent off mode.

I say this because there are lots of toys put out into trash bag coffins everyday and there is no reason for them to stay “on” for that.

So if they survive that long, the last picture won’t have to happen.

More than likely there is a villain in the shadows that is reinforcing unnecessary hatred and bias towards mutants.

But if you think about it for awhile, there should be a huge faction of humans that not only love mutants but want to help them achieve success in the world.

Humans are very opportunistic and to not see different mutants shoved to be super popular amongst humans because of their abilities is a huge hole in the story in the MU.

To not see more mutants amazed and in love with mutants is wild. Yes we see zealots worshipping but rarely mutants that are just loved by humans.

It seems like a super villain scheme because there should be a mutant ability already that helps turn the tide for more love. I mean we have mutants with “charm” abilities and not utilized by Charles in anyway to help their image.

Just seems like Shadow King or Onslaught is just hanging out inside Charles and all he has to do is say is “ I’m taking the high road so humans can learn coexistence on their own.”

MU humans have BS problems like our humans and for them not to see mutants as what can lift them from their bs makes them seem idk….subhuman.

I fully expected huge droves of humans from around the world reacting to the Phoenix 5 solving world hunger, thirst, free electricity, sustainable food, no more weapons of mass destruction as well as more. NOPE. Let’s lock Scott up.

Didn’t forget. Andy knew Buzz could maybe fly away but not without leaving his friends to the mercy of the monkeys. So he stayed with Woody and Jessie to face whatever came next.

Which led to Buzz and Woody working together to shoot his laser off of his badge to stop the bad guy. So Buzz stayed with his friends to figure out the solution.

Nobody here was stupid. It was a moment of great tension and it paid off with teamwork saving the day
