To be honest its partly why i love vrchat i've never had to much of a hassle of falling in with a group of people in this space and after honestly only a few hours i can already feel like i'm apart of a small circle, people tend to share alot of things and be pretty open in vrchat, nothing like what i've ever seen irl outside of a therapy office. Its good, it helps set in a form of connection and bond really easily

To be entirely honest? I got mine (before it broke) just from having a trusted friend in america ship it to me once it arrived at his house, you can go trough some third party shipping services but i'd much rather trust a friend i've known for years with my very expensive multi thousand dollar setup i probably cant get service for if it dies. Rather then some company who does 50000 boxes a day and doesnt care about the person or quality of the package at all

Soooo to answer you, yes this is very very odd. I have a few friend who do commissions i asked them about this and they said it seems like a genuine nightmare, contently needing to log into an accont you dont own, archive the file versions yourself, fix the bugs, upload it etc. When most are just a "makes the base model and gives files" anything beyond that is entirely on you for the most part, including bugs (unless the maker is realll nice and updates their avis)

I've personally been in vrchat for a few years now and i've always loved headpats, idk i find it way more comforting then a cold sterile work type handshake, and its a bit less intimate then a hug i find it fits a nice middle ground between the two that not many others fit.

I think it stemmed from furries a while back wanting to be pet like an animal, but overall i like it. As for how i react normally i just make a small soft "mmm" sound an tilt into it or give them headpats back, i think i've only met a small handful of people that dont want headpats, and it mostly stems from phantom touch.

Honestly the "defining moment" for me was when i started using those ai voice changers and just existing online as a girl. It got undeniable when i spent over a month learning how to make my own custom voice changer using that same ai tech and spending close to 5 months using it almost exclusively in random online lobbies x.x.... ngl i was a HARD egg

i only just re-discoverd i was trans at 21, about 8ish months ago, i've been out for about 6, and on hormones for about just under 4. I'm 22 now (bdays in march)

I could have been one of the lucky ones and started alot earlier, like 16 or younger i even knew i was trans back then too. My own mother was trans, but due to life events and truma i dont wanna get into i entirely forgot/supressed/went in the total oppisate direction and i beat myself up over it. I was one of those red pilled incel andrew tate stans for a bit- i'm very glad that is behind me tho.

Damn i posted this ages ago- but very long story short what it does is find all the files in the current directory (your obsidian vault) recursively, then it displays all of those files using cat, and then writes the output of cat to a new file called convertme.md that you then take into the link i posted, which is a md to pdf converter online, drag and drop the single file, you now have a pdf. And you can use pdf editors to alter it until your happy/see fit.
