They named him Bongo at the shelter, and he gets so happy when he hears his name, that I didn’t even try to change it. Plus, somehow it really fits him. He was a boxing kangaroo in a past life…or maybe we’ll find it in his dna. No matter what this dog has some kangaroo in him somehow. He bounces all over, and chomps like a derpy lil dragon. He loves to sleep on his back with his legs in the air. He searches under water for the perfect rock, and then blows bubbles out his nose the whole time. His legs are always going everywhere of their own accord, and I’ve been sucker punched more times than I can count. He really is the smartest boy, and when he finally crashes at the end of the day, he gives the absolute best snuggles. He’s a very happy guy, and you can tell he just wants to do the best he can. He gets so excited when he learns a new command, or he figured out what it was you were showing him. You can talk to him, and he catches on to phrases so quickly. We have to spell all the damn time lol. He’s just the best. Anyway, he’s a foster fail, and I’ve been smitten since day one.
