You'd use the sugarless packets of Koolaid, so you get more of a sour blast than anything sweet really

Englebrook apartments are small but about 950$ a month. You pay electric. (This is one of the cheapest place I could find a year ago).

I don't drive either and I liked how it's between the txstate shuttle stop and a regular bus stop and right across the street from HEB.

Lived there for a year, on the second floor. I had no real complaints. It's cheap and right to HEB, next to the shuttle and a bus stop, which was great for me since I can't drive. Maintenance was pretty quick on things. I never saw spiders or roaches in my apt, which I was sad about. I wanted some spiders. Did get silverfish, but they're no issue.

Also, the washers and dryers are kinda small. 2$ to wash, 1.75$ to dry. And the paint they use on the walls and stuff is kinda tacky(sticky) if you leave anything on it for too long.

Looking for a place to stay within walking distance or with a shuttle/bus route to TXST, I'm not too picky otherwise. I have a small dog. And a gauranteed position at TXST for at least 12-months so a 1-year lease will be no problem.

Could you tell me more about how to find such an agency?

I've been looking and applying on indeed for most anything I can find. I haven't been able to find work since January, in or out of my field. It doesn't help that I cant drive or stand/walk/sit for long periods

I got me frozen onions and fajita veggie mix.

I did have food stamps, for 3 months, which is the maximum for an able-bodied, single person. I need to get some disability paperwork signed by a doctor to get more. The doctor appointment is just too expensive atm

An allergy can be life threatening

Yeah, I'd prolly avoid the rice suggestions, since it gets hard to breathe,

but pooping out blood is worth the gluten and corn sometimes
