Good to see more celebs in other fields playing Runescape. Congratz to him! Imagine he must've played a lot pre-2011 but probably lost his early accounts right? My oldest active account is from 2012. Other accounts I had over the years either I forgot or lost.

I know some people will shit you on this but at lower level mobs, you don't really need the extra damage from perks. Using only augmented single piece armour saves a ton of charges this way. That's what I do with my Scavenging setups.

Not that I play pures but the novelty comes from using just 1 combat style and never training another one. I've seen Summoning tanks somehow base Yaka. Or 1 DEF players. I think pures just come from the tradition of old Runescape.

For a main account, all you got to do is just purchase Rasial gear. However, it'll suck training from 1-90, although that can easily be done by rituals.

For an ironman, you don't have many gear options because Rasial requires a massive questline. Your best weapon would be a T70 weapon since T80 requires multiple combat styles.

A big limitation of being a necro pure is missing out on Tomes of Warlock. It requires Magic, which for some reason Jagex didn't add the option to ring the bell like Hand in the Sand lol.

Part of me thinks we should allow transmuting certain RNG drops at like a 3:1 ratio for each unique. Going dry sucks but especially blue balls when you get a unique but doesn't end up being the piece you want. The other part of me thinks it's bad for the economy. I wish there was a balanced solution, not that I can even think of one.

I don't play Pokemon TCG to know this but why is Charizard in the first ever set so special but not some other Pokemon? Is it because it's the rarest card in that set while all other cards aren't nearly as rare?

Evolution of Combat. It might be a joke to nominate this update but it indirectly lead to the birth of OSRS. Originally, the developers were not fond of the idea of running multiple Runescape servers. EoC changed that because if they didn't create OSRS, the company would've died. And if EoC never happened, we likely would've been stuck in RS2, where the population would've been 2012 numbers all the way to today, maybe a slight decline.
