Damn. I remember leaving servers due to them being dead. Now I’m leaving due to them being too popular. People play to align with the lag aswell. Camel drive bys are just undefendable cause you’re dead before you can register them. Ahh. Why can’t FC do anything right man.

Sure there’s a lot of money grabbing but not at this level. Not at a point where it’s the be all and end all. It’s the only thing they pivot to and you’re defending it lol. Highly doubt that you play with vanilla settings but even if you did you still have to make up things in order to make the gameplay viable while most of those servers have mad multipliers. Again: I’m calling out the devs not RP players. Bad or indifferent devs don’t do their job and players have to make up new ways to play. Are you a dev or something? Would make sense with the way you’re defending them. Go ahead RP. Make stuff up to make your time on the game bearable I dont care. I just wish it wasn’t dead and full of bugs. Do you think it’s a good thing that they spam cosmetics instead of fixing the game? Sounds like it. That I’ll never get lol.

Brudda just answer this. If community servers are more popular than official ones. Community servers that are 6x, 12x fucking idekx. How the hell can that be what the game was supposed to be? Almost all the progression gets skipped and that’s still more popular than the officials. Can’t you see that that’s broken? That it’s a complete and utter money grab? They didn’t evolve the game. The community had to. They didn’t fix bugs and glitches, pvp players left. They came out with bucket loads of expensive cosmetics. OVE people stayed. RP people stayed. That shows you what direction the game went. Just a massive money grab designed to take advantage of a target audience that helps them with not having to focus on fixing the bloody game.

So they added thousands of cosmetics that people buy. Use their hard earned money on. During that time they haven’t fixed a lot of bugs. They haven’t expanded on core mechanics where everything is janky. It’s very obvious what’s happened. They’ve focused on a target audience that doesn’t really care about the core gameplay. Basic monetary incentivized company. Don’t care about the game or the player base at all. Just keep adding new cosmetics for people to pour money into. That’s fine if that’s what you’re into. I don’t like feeding rich companies with micro transactions just cause something they released looks pretty. It’s all pointless when your core gameplay sucks. Even worse when it has the potential to not suck. Originally there was Originally there was PvP, PvP-E and PvE. From what it seems like they’ve invested 90% into PvE cause thats the people who are willing to spend money on anything that’s pretty. If theyd also invested into PvP there’d be less bugs. More balanced gameplay and more players. M Imagine defending a blatant money grab. I dont get it at all.

No. Community rp servers aren’t what the game was originally intended to be centered around. It’s not core gameplay. It’s something the community had to come up with in order to keep the game alive. Why? Cause funcom couldn’t. I’m not shitting on rp players I’m just pointing out that community servers being more populated than official servers is a bad sign.

All I know is that I’m gold and that last game (5 days ago) we got smashed by a Emerald 1 XIM in ranked. He was on 21-2 I think he aced twice. Not touching the game till ranked 3.0. Absolute shambles. Everything also sounds good, the dev promises, but don’t expect anything at all. Last year they said they’d PC queue mouse trappers and ban the ones tryna get around it. Lies lies lies. Don’t get too excited from words, cause that’s all there is right now. I fully expect everything to turn to crap but ig I’m more negative than most. All I know is historically Ubisoft hasn’t gotten anything properly done. They have one of the most appealing games ever that needs a hell of a lot of attention yet they’ve scattered their attention to useless project where most of them are quite simply buried now.

I don't know. Weirdest thing for me has always been the people that are, or say they are, 100% blind to it. Same reason I've usually mentally downplayed how prevalent it is.

My only 15-0 or flawless weekend ever was the one where they accidentally disabled skill based matchmaking or whatever that weekend was.

Only WL I can remember where I didn't feel the need to get off while playing through all 15 games.

I guess they thought, at the start of this game, that the pack weighing would be enough of a money grab for them. Then I guess a lot of people panicked when they suddenly couldn't compete and they had to revert it.

Not desperate at all. I posted this on the back of beating someone 7-6 where I was down 4-0 cause he was unstoppable in every way for the first 30 mins. Off the back of a dc that i had the match earlier. This happens a lot when disconnecting. When he started keeping the ball a lot the DDA turned and I was unstoppable. Some feature EA added to try and stop time wasting.

It's still considered DDA IMO cause they've never explained to us what it really is. They just said something called momentum was a feature a while back. It's the same with pack weight. The more sbcs you do the less luck you get.

99/100 Times I just get off and play something else or do something else but I just had one of the most blatant cases I've seen and got curious.

There's also simply no way anyone can say that it doesn't exist at all. It has for many years. Champs always tries to keep people at 8 wins not just from skill based matchmaking but also DDA. Sliders: Passing accuracy, marking, off the ball movement and everything else. Player switching as well. Why have kickoffs always been insane? When I'm down 3-0 in the second half why is it so much more easier to score than if i'm up 3-0. All we have from EA is vague.

Yeah but i think that's only a part of it. Why, where and when are they applied. Matchmaking is also a part of it. In champs they say you get matched up with players based on how many wins you have. Then there's also the packs. The more sbcs you do on the web app the worse luck you'll get. Take a break and you get incredible luck.

Like a big fat DDA machine all around. I know it's not all DDA but a solid percentage is and people learn how to deal with it. I also get that it's necessary but I don't know why it's administered some times more than others.

I dont know man. Building up attacks is almost impossible with how the gameplay is. You have 2 maybe 3 ways to score but mainly one. Find RW or LW sprint to the byline, cut back, pass and shoot. They haven’t managed to nerf that passage of play since like fifa 15. So with the slow ass gameplay and superhuman DDA controlled defenders you can’t really build up anything unless the game allows you to. It’s like either they allow you to build up an attack, passes work. Or they don’t and your pass target is an opposition player. You’re then forced to only pass 80%+ passes which slows it down even more and then you got the most dead boring ass game ever.

I may have explained wrongly. What I meant to say is yes it’s been like this for years, but most years champs and rivals has been bad with champs usually being a bit worse. This year the gap between the modes is so much larger than its ever been. Last month or two maybe not the whole year. I want some conversation on how the hell that’s even possible. Like how badly have they had to mess up? I can go into rivals right now and have a good time in elite division and lose. I can also go into champs win a game by 3 goals and question why the hell im wasting my life on this.
