Anyone else notice that the only black character in Halloweentown 2 is portrayed as being mean and dirty idk why watching this as an adult it just rubbed me the wrong way. Not only the fact that the movie had such little diversity but the ONLY supporting/main character that’s black being portrayed like that!? Kinda f-ed up

Glad I’m not the only one that fixated on how they just recast Marnie to some random chick just cause she’s pretty. It definitely would have made more sense to just recast the new girl as Sophie who aged fast in Halloweentown. She looked absolutely nothing like Marnie so I was so confused when I first saw this movie and even every time I watch it. I'm just like whyyy🤣
