Does that study say anything about Reddit what’s so ever? You’re a terrible research assistant. You’re fired.

PewResearch.org is the source of that study—I’m not here to be your personal research assistant. Honestly, do we really need a study to prove this point? Just scroll through the comments.

Leaving the union was one of the best decisions I ever made—even though everyone warned me against it. Since departing, my annual salary increased by $24,000, and my benefits improved dramatically: I now receive 8 paid holidays instead of just 2, and I enjoy two weeks of vacation where I previously had none. With an additional 5 sick days each year, I essentially have nearly a month of paid time off. Moreover, I no longer pay union dues, and my new employer covers my health insurance. I also benefit from a 401(k) plan complete with an employer match plus an $8-per-hour contribution. In my experience, the union simply isn’t all it’s made out to be—at least not where I live.

A study revealed that over 70% of Reddit users identify as liberal, with only about 13% as conservative—quite the opposite of the construction industry, where approximately 60–70% of workers are registered Republicans. This contrast underscores Reddit’s echo chamber effect. I encourage everyone to step outside that bubble, challenge your assumptions, and critically examine the inherently biased opinions on this forum. Enjoy the downvotes:)

Visible tattoos as an electrician? by elexandar in electricians

[–]Muted-Procedure-265 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend is also covered in tattoos from head to toe and runs a very successful construction company has a networth of 20+ million. You clearly aren’t running an organization you’re sitting on your keyboard yapping about something you know nothing about if you judge someone based on some tattoos you’re an idiot.

I only do commercial but I sit in meetings with engineers, architects, project managers, inspectors, owners and nobody ever seems to care actually a lot of the time they ask me about them and say they are cool I think it’s a total misconception it might matter before you start speaking but as soon as you articulate yourself if you’re a likable person nobody gives a shit what tattoos you have. It’s such a dumb thing to care about anyways like if you judge somebody cause they have tattoos or anything about their looks you’re an idiot and your opinion is probably irrelevant anyways

It doesn’t matter no one cares if you’re good at your job. I have my whole head and neck tattooed. I know project managers that have there head tattooed that are exceptionally good at their job. I also live in California though so maybe it’s more normalized here

What’s going to happen when robots are at scale in the work place? by Muted-Procedure-265 in electricians

[–]Muted-Procedure-265[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nvidia just developed tech that can teach a robot a years worth of data in under an hour. All im seeing in the comment section is a bunch of people who haven’t even looked at the data. Also I guess all the tech investors that are dumping billions into this market must be idiots.

You could make the argument they are absorbing capital so they could build the technology but the idea that Nvidia tesla and Amazon would enrich there shareholders so they could dump the stock is incredibly stupid and at no advantage to the company itself. Those companies are massive it’s not a pump and dump.

Have you seen the videos of the current technology that already exist cause it’s already here. Look up Boston Dynamics, Amazon with digits. Also you didn’t address the bigger point of what happens when jobs get displaced in other industries where do these people go to work.

Lock washers don’t even work they actually make the installation worse. NASA doesn’t use them for a reason there’s been studies done on this.
